Okay, so, the only reason I give this 3 stars is because I damn near wanted to break the thing while on my phone (it's a Christmas gift to myself and hubby so had to make sure it fit) because the two hard plastic parts would NOT separate. Had to use scissors just to pull them apart. It is almost IMPOSSIBLE to separate! Why would anyone make something so difficult to take off like that??Other than that, it's a pretty well made csse. Though, the rubber part could stand to fit a bit nicer over the whole thing. You have to check it several times. Really the only reason I got one for myself was for the clip which I realize can't be used without the rest of the case. So I may just order the same one I had last time since the clip could be used with other cases... but it will work fine for my hubby. I don't recommend this case to anyone who has weak hands/fingers though.

So let me get the small gripes out of the way: The plastic shell that encases the phone is REALLY hard to get on and off. It's quite difficult to pull apart and trying to makes me feel like I'm going to break it. Next, the plastic ring, while a cool idea - is also made of the same plastic as the phone shell (which isnt the best in terms of strength) and with its....strange circle design..... does not do a great job holding the phone up as a rectangular design would have. A shame but not a deal breaker. The 2nd protective case they provide you offers a rectangular clip that does a far better job should you need it.Okay, so, other than those two issues, I think this phone case is great. The shell offers a raised lip that goes FULLY around your phone to offer complete protection. Now, if I drop my phone, it should never hit the screen if it falls face first onto the floor, which I admittedly do a lot (sorry phone). Next is the rubber covering which fits perfectly over the plastic shell. I'm not sure what some people are experiencing when they've written about the rubber not conforming to the shell well - mine does without a hitch every time I slide it on and off. The buttons work perfectly and dust protector is great to guard the headphone jack and usb port.All in all it makes my phone feel like a nice BIG protected bouncy brick which I LOVE. I want my phone to feel like nothing I accidentally do could harm it. And this case is great for the price. Absolutely GREAT. 8/10

Very bulky, tough fit for shirt pocket. Rubber around rim doesn't stay in place. Price was reasonable. Probably go with something lighter and more streamlined next time.

It protects my Galaxy S9 great. It is very heavy duty. The swivel ring is a useful feature I use daily. The outer layer of the case has a lot of grip. The only major complaint I have is with the outer silicon layer. It does not have a tight fit around the hard inner layer. When I pull my phone out of my cargo shorts front pocket, the outer layer grips my pocket and the soft outer silicon layer will come unattached a little and I have to snap it back on to the inner layer.A minor issue is due to the case being so thick and having the swivel ring on the back. Wireless charging is restricted a little. I have to place the phone on the wireless charger in a very specific spot or else it will not work. I have to make sure the charging indicator light comes on before walking away and leaving it to charge. When placed in the specific spot on the charger, fast charging works like regular.

The rubber exterior sheath which covers the hard plastic case the phone sits inside of is very comfortable to grip, and it's buttons dont require any noticeable extra effort to push, like cases I've used from some other brands. There is no screen protector, but I didn't want one anyway, so I'm not withholding stars because of that. The only real gripe I have is regarding the kickstand ring. It's made of a flimsy feeling plastic, not metal, so it remains to be seen how long it will hold together. As of this writing, I've been using it for a couple of weeks and it's stable, with a steep enough prop angle to allow for both easy viewing and touch interaction from portrait and landscape mode.

It's nice but the case is to lose on the phone

Whether you buy a 50$ belt clip or this 15 $ model THEY ALL ARE PLASTIC and break.I buy one of these ever 4 to 6 months like clock work it works until I di something stupid or the neoprene phone cover stretches out and becomes a pain!I buy a new one and away we go!Good product for price!
