Bienfang Sketching & Tracing Paper Roll, White, 18 Inches x 50 Yards - for Drawing, Trace, Sketch, Sewing Pattern

This is wonderful tracing paper. I use it for quilting patterns, craft patterns and basic sewing patterns. It is good quality for tracing paper and recommended. If you make sewing patters it is recommended the 36" option. 24" is okay but you'll be better off with the 36" width option.

I was impressed how easy it was to trace sewing patterns through the paper. It is more durable than regular pattern tissue paper and has held up well through multiple pinnings and cuttings of fabric pieces. Very happy with my purchase.

Exactly as advertised and arrived in a timely fashion

I'm just about to buy several more rolls of the 36" wide. I discovered it years ago for making sewing patterns and it is the only kind I use. I make TONS of sewing patterns. This is easy to see through for tracing, sturdy enough to use without tearing, puts up with an eraser; and if you use the magic tape (the translucent kind), it's pretty easy to remove. You can iron it with a coolish iron (actually, you can safely use a hot iron but the paper will curl a bit). One 50 yard roll actually lasts a really long time - I make a LOT of patterns.

I use this Bienfang tracing paper roll for pattern drafting, and it works great. It’s lightweight, easy to fold, and simple to cut to whatever size I need. I can clearly see my lines when tracing, and it’s strong enough for regular sewing use without tearing too easily. I also like how versatile it is. I can roll it right out across my sewing table and work on larger pattern pieces without fighting with small sheets. When I’m done, it rolls back up neatly. My only wish is that it came in a soft yellow color instead of white, which would be easier on the eyes. Still, it’s a dependable choice for drafting and tracing.

Big enough and it's perfect to trace with!

The paper is good. Feels a little more brittle than the kind that I usually use, but I think it's good - maybe just not used to this brand? Seems like it's doing the trick. Will keep you posted.

This paper is perfect for making sewing patterns, which is what I'm using it for. It's very good quality; I would say it's just a little bit thicker than the usual sewing pattern paper. It lies flat when unrolled. It is transparent, making it good for tracing most things (such as patterns or for drafting), but the paper doesn't have a completely smooth appearance (the surface is smooth, but you can see the inconsistencies in the fibers of the paper), which gives it a slightly marbled look. Because of that, I would say it's probably not the best for tracing drawings or other things with lots of very fine detail.
