Timeless Frames Astor Frame, 9" x 12", Gold

I NEVER write reviews, but I'm sufficiently ticked off about these to do so. They have no backing other than cardboard. There's no built-in hanger: Instead, two tiny nails and a hanger are included so that you can attach the hanger yourself. I tried that, since I had ordered two and hate returning things--but I couldn't even get the first nail entirely in. It went in a little ways and then got stuck and wouldn't go deeper no matter how hard I hit it. I couldn't even get the second one in that far. The frame isn't wood and won't really take nails; while the nails themselves are minuscule and hard to hold, let alone hit.My fault I suppose for not reading the other negative reviews. But seriously, I can buy better picture frames than this for half the price. These are terrible.

Lovely frame. It's a heavy plastic but the gold finish hides that. It's aesthetically pleasing and looks great on my wall. Mine came with glass and a typical pressed backing board with swing type closures and hanging hooks for vertical and horizontal hanging... Unfortunately it's not boxed or packaged, and mine was loosely wrapped in bubble wrap by Amazon and placed in a large shipping box. That wasn't adequate, and the frame arrived broken in one corner, with several small pieces of plastic from the frame rattling around in the box. Fortunately, the damage was all on the back of the frame and rather than go through the hassle of a return, I opted to superglue it back together. So five stars on the product, minus one for the packing and not arriving intact. Caveat emptor.

First, I must say that if you are looking for pure presentation then this frame is quite pretty. The only problem I had was that the black backing board was too small for the frame (not sure if this was just a packaging error as the frame did not come in a custom box as most do). I had to tape the board to the frame in order to avoid slipping. Hopefully it was just a mismatch error.

Very pretty and sturdy. Will hold up for a long time.

Didn’t like the quality for the price! It’s just cheap plastic with no real backing except a piece of cardboard! It did enclose the mounting hardware but you have to nail it into a plastic frame, not sure how that will work out, kinda afraid to even attempt!

Just what I was looking for. I framed a diamond painting cross stitch picture I did for my daughters birthday. I should have gotten a pic. Turned out beautiful.

The frame worked great and helps make an outstanding photo stand out even more.
