I absolutely love this new curling iron, from the extra long barrel to accommodate longer hair to the ergonomic handle and the digital controls. I will say I noticed that the curls do not stay in all day or 3 days etc. like some say. I’m not sure if it’s because the heat is not up high enough: I do mine at about 355 degrees and I’m only leaving the curl in for maybe 4-5 seconds because I’m so paranoid about damaging hair. I suspect if I turn the heat up higher or left it in for a full 10 to 12 seconds of these curls would last all day. I will say I LOVE the effect, it’s very much ‘beach waves’ that kind of fall out for the end of the day and my hair just looks frizz-free and wavy and natural and it’s amazing. No other curling iron has given this effect And I tried the super expensive beach waver but ended up returning it.**I tried this out on a friend who hardly ever uses tools in her hair and she promptly bought it and is now using it daily.

I used this to curl my hair into loose curls. It did work really well initially, but the curls quickly fell out. Part of that may be my hair itself, but i did not find the curls to hold well. Outside of that, this curling iron is made of great quality and I will keep trying to get good curls out of it.

I originally purchased this dual voltage curling iron for my trip to Ireland. Oh how I wish I had at tried it out before my trip because if I had I would have been using it this whole time. This curling was a dream in Ireland. No, it's not a compact travel curling iron, but who cares? Not me! It was worth taking on my trip, and is currently being used by me at home as my daily iron. Quick heat up. Smooth and easy while curling and placing the hair exactly where you want it while wrapping it around. No frizz. No frying. Smooth, silky, curled hair. I love this iron. And Im willing to give it 5 stars despite it being the size of a regular curling iron. The large barrel made my curling time cut in HALF. No joke. In half. You will not be sorry. Oh, and i have long hair past my shoulders, fine, thick, color-treated hair.

Not as good, curl doesn't hold, I don't think it as hot as described, pay for what you get.

As a licensed cosmetologist I'm very picky about hair tools but needed an inexpensive iron for travel. I have to say I was very impressed with this iron. It heats up so fast and the added length is necessary for anyone with long hair. I will agree with other reviews that it is better for thick or course hair and healthy thin hair may not see the same results.

If I could return it, I would.
