Why does jell-o use aspartame when healthier alternative sweeteners are available?

I don't know. Jello has been around along time. Maybe it would cost too much to change their recipe. And why would they if sales are good.

For the bones used in the gelatin, is it beef? and are the cows rbgh-free? organic? grass-fed?

Normally I would just delete this simply because I don’t know, but your question is a really great question. I am old enough that a relative or two actually made this stuff from scratch but I didn’t want to know because it fell under the title of icky and where babies come from. (Early fifties). How Many Calories In It?

Hi. Now I am going to include info on the Jello brand and the Kroger brand. I eat primarily the Jello brand but the Kroger to me tastes just as good. But I am 71 so you should work out the taste yourself. The Jello brand is 10 calories per serving and the Kroger brand is 5 calories per serving. Enjoy
