Karlie Wonderland Bogie Wheel wheel diameter: 20 cm

I have degus and had to buy a wooden wheel, this one is finished beautifully and doesn't make a sound when the pets are running round. I have had this for a week and still in perfect condition its not made cheap like other wheels. Delivery was here a week later and was ready to be placed right into cage. Would def buy again!

I admit that I bought this wheel because of the look rather than the reviews. Not being a fan of brightly coloured plastic wheels, this appealed and looks great in our "natural" styled setup. Fortunately, it turns out that it is more than just a classy looking wheel - it is almost silent and very popular with our dwarf hamster.The advantage of having a stable base and not having to attach it to the side of a cage is a bonus. Knowing that it is wooden and not plastic that could be chewed is also a positive.Would definitely recommend.

This wheel really is the best around, ive tried plastic silent ones and although they are easier to clean they end up squueking after a while and they arent as sturdy as this wooden one. The base is heavy enough so that it wint move, however we still ise a small amount of bluetack on the bottem just to ensure it doesnt move. The medium size is perfect for a hamster! Lovley wheel, only downside are poo droplet stains, and hard to clean, but spraying it with a specialised rodent pet sray every few days, and giving it a good scrub should be fine! Hope this review helps someone considering buying!

I have had 2 degus for 2 years now and have gone through many different wheels as anyone with degus knows they are monsters foe the wheel. I now have 9 degus and I swear by these wooden ones. They are so quiet and very durable and the perfect siz. The first tester wheel worked out so well and lasted so long I have kit out their cages with a load of these. Price is so much cheaper than you'll find anywhere else, and it is definately worth the money. Cannot recommend this enough for anyone with a very active small pet.

This wheel is a much better size than the 6" one that came with the cage and our hamster seems to like it. There are a few problems though; the first thing he did was knaw at the edge of the wheel and it has become splintered; also, the spindle is not central, so the wheel runs excentrically; lastly, the wheel was rubbing on the base due to the excentric rotation.I would check you can get it into your hamster's cage as it's quite big and I had to saw a little off the base to get it in. As a result, I am going to have to take it to my shed and modify it to make it work properly. Not overly impressed.I paid over £18 for this and agree with another reviewer that the pricing is all over the place! It took an age to arrive from Germany as well.19th November 2014Came down yesterday morning to find blood around the edge of the wheel and our hamster with a cut foot. Really very upset about this and sending it back!!

Was good but gerbil chewed through the holder bit so now can’t be use just a big chew toy! But gerbils liked it until it broke

Minky gerbil loves her wooden wheel! Was tired of replacing with plastic ones which snap after 3wks and wish I'd found this wheel sooner. Is SILENT apart from the sound of her tiny feet as she jogs, is well made and sturdy and runs really smoothly instead of clunking like the plastic ones.I am however getting some Plastikote spray paint (safe for animals)just for the edges which she has been knawing at - should slow down the wear and I'll just redo the paint when needed instead of spending £5 every 3wks on yet another plastic wheel. However, I've already had this wheel weeks and haven't got round to Plastikoting it yet and the edges are only slightly chewed and it doesn't stop it working! Even if I need to ever replace this wooden wheel with another wooden, I've still saved money over the long run, provided a smooth running wheel for Minky and peace and quiet for us!Just to add, Minky's back is not bent when running and she doesn't have to run at an angle, and she is a fully grown 114g gerbil who is not fat but a big build. Also Lucy who is much smaller build at 74g has no problems either running on this sized wheel.

Perfecta, creía que sería demasiado grande pero al final cabe en la jaula y les ha encantado a mis jerbos, a veces corren dos a la vez, juegan mucho con ella y es totalmente silenciosa

Loopt stil, zeker in t begin. Na 5 weken intensief gebruik door de goudhamster is t rad uit balans en loopt t aan. Tikkende geluid is doordat de hamster in de woonkamer staat met de deur dicht, boven niet heel hinderlijk.Doordat de hamster zo hard loopt heb ik t rad wel aan de kooi moeten vastzetten met een ijzerdraad. Rad liep gewoon van zijn plaats af! Beste rad tot nog toe.
