Excelent quality. Bioavailability studies show that it is one of the best in the market.

Cutting edge, but you are paying for it
So first of all, while this is labeled as a creatine supplement, in my opinion, this is really a PeptiStrong supplement. I did some research on PeptiStrong and it is very interesting and represents some of the latest breakthroughs in supplement technology. So, anyone used to typical creatine supplements will absolutely have some sticker shock when seeing the price of this, but that really isn't a fair comparison. First, this powder mixes easily. I mix it with a flavored pre-workout, and it doesn't seem to alter the taste at all. I did taste it separately and it had a very mild sweet taste. As far as effectiveness, I feel that this supplement is actually making a difference and really helping with muscle recovery. I recently started jogging and used to be sore for a few days after each jog. Recently, I have been feeling almost 100% by the next day. Of course, this could be attributed by my muscles getting used to jogging, but the change seems too significant for the supplement to not be a factor at all. I think if you do some research on PeptiStrong and you find it intriguing, this supplement is a great value. It has cutting edge ingredients and all at effective dosages. Coming from a respected brand like GNC, I would definitely recommend this.

Interesting, but more then 8x Unit Price of pure Creatine
Cute little container from a well known brand. Right off the bat, the price is over 4x the unit price of other creatine powders, but when you factor in the recommended 11.1 gram serving size whereas others are only 5gram serving, we're talking about 8.5x the price per day. Let that sink in... Granted, I've never used HMB or PeptiStrong, both sound like they have great potential benefit with HMB helping preserve muscle mass when combined with exercise, an important consideration for aging folks who may be approaching age related sarcopenia. Peptistrong sounds newer, and less researched, but if it truly supports strength recovery and muscular endurance it would certainly increase the benefit of the creatine. At that kind of mark up however, I'd need to see overwhelming clinical evidence of massive benefit, and realize stark results personally to keep up with it. Given the higher dosage size, I'd recommend using more water to dissolve all that material, but it seems to dissolves as good as other products. The taste was typical, not great, but certainly not a deal breaker. As it says, it's a neutral flavor, so no recognizable fruit or other taste. I noticed no smell. I had no negative digestive side effects, but can't say I've noticed a rapid effectiveness yet either, not enough to justify continuing on with these prices. With 30 days supply in the can, I have a couple more weeks to be persuaded that it's worth the premium.

Muscle preservation? Yes, please
The benefits of creatine are well-documented (and they keep getting better). I've taken GNC creatine products before, with success, so I was glad to get this new one. What really attracted me was two words on the front label: "protects gains." I'm a hard gainer if ever there was one (yes, hard gaining really is a thing even though some say it isn't). My gym workouts are about as intense as I can make them these days (I'm an older guy but still going strong), and my eating plan is fine -- so it can be frustrating to see my hard-earned muscle gains fly out the window. Right now I'm taking this creatine as part of my smoothie. That means -- I mix 5g (or a little more) of this creatine into my beverage, consume part of it before I work out and the rest after (I don't take my smoothie into the gym because there are too many oblivious zombies in there tied to their cell phones -- one of them would likely knock it over at our cozy gym). No issues with the powder not blending easily -- all good (and no issues with the taste, either). Hoping this creatine lives up to my expectations. So far, it has.

Somewhat gritty when mixed, several added chemicals, warning on label and high price.
I have been taking 5 grams of creatine for a while now and thought I would try this product by GNC. I found that when thoroughly mixed (by shaking in a shaking bottle) that the drink was somewhat gritty, like something does not dissolve completely. I am also a little dismayed by the other chemical ingredients. Upon doing some research, HMB (hydroxymethylbutyrate) research on the effectiveness was mixed with some studies indicating some effect, but others found little or no effect at all. PeptiStrong (hydrolysate peptide complex), developed with artificial intelligence AI) is a relatively new chemical that does indicate some benefit to muscle health and aging. Other ingredients include silicon dioxide, sucralose and cholecalciferol. The price of $49.99 for 30 servings is $1.67 per serving. There is also a warning on the label that says "WARNING: Cancer and Reproductive Harm". Creatine has been around for decades, is very well researched and studied and has proved to provide muscle health benefits. The creatine that I have been taking is 100% creatine with no added chemicals and cost $18.97 for 100 5 gram servings, or $0.19 per serving. Because of the added chemicals, warning on the label and high cost, I will not be taking this GNC Creabolic, but will continue with my current creatine product.

This was a no for me.
Fast shipping. The container came packaged with an outside plastic seal and an inner seal for freshness and safety. I heard great things about this product so I decided to try GNC AMP Creabolic. First off, it has a gritty texture and strange flavor that makes every drink taste bad, no matter what it's mixed with and even flavored drinks couldn't cover up the taste. I guess this is where the โneutralโ flavor (not UNFLAVORED) comes from. Also, the scoop amount is unnecessarily large compared to other creatine products I've used, making it less convenient to take every day and harder to choke down. Another downside is the price. This product costs significantly more than regular creatine monohydrate, yet I have not experienced or noticed any additional benefits. Other similar brands I have used not only mixed better, tasted better, and had a smaller serving size, but they provided the same or better results at a lower cost. There are also some included ingredients that make this formula less clean than others. This was just a no for me.

Great Stuff!
I have used creatine before, but this formula is different from the basic creatine monohydrate powders. It combines 5 grams of creatine with HMB and PeptiStrong, so I did some research to understand why those ingredients were included. Creatine monohydrate is the most familiar ingredient here, and the full 5-gram serving is a solid daily dose. HMB is commonly used to help support muscle preservation and recovery when combined with exercise. PeptiStrong was new to me, but it is a plant-based protein hydrolysate included to support muscular endurance and the recovery of strength after exercise. I cannot personally speak to how those three ingredients work synergistically, but individually, they make sense to me for strength and recovery. I like that this is unflavored. I mixed it into water, but lets be real, people who are taking this usually chug it down for the benefit and will tolerate less than great flavors. Still, this one easily mixes with water for a "neutral" flavor. I also like the Informed Choice certification. This product is regularly tested for more than 285 substances prohibited in sports. I am not a competitive athlete, but third-party testing still gives me more confidence in the accuracy and cleanliness of a supplement. I think this is a great option for someone who already plans to take creatine but also wants HMB and PeptiStrong. The formula is interesting, the dosages are clearly stated, and I am excited to see how it fits into my workouts over time.
