The Missing Link for a Mobile Editing Workflow
As an IT professional with a desk that is essentially a sea of electronics, I am constantly looking for ways to bridge the gap between my mobile devices and my professional hardware. My workspace is often cluttered with various peripherals, and finding a reliable way to move large video files without sacrificing a charging port is a frequent challenge. This USB-C to USB OTG adapter has become a vital tool for my mobile setup, especially when I’m working away from my main workstation. The standout feature for my workflow is the 30W PD charging pass-through. When I’m deep into a heavy editing session on my iPad Pro M4, the battery drain can be significant. This adapter allows me to keep the tablet powered at full speed while simultaneously tethering external storage or a camera. It effectively solves the "single-port" limitation, allowing me to stay productive for hours without worrying about a dead battery in the middle of a render or a file transfer. In terms of performance, the USB 3.0 speeds are exactly what I need for handling high-resolution media. Transferring large 4K video files and data from my iPhone 17 Pro Max to external drives is noticeably faster than standard adapters I’ve used in the past. Having that 5Gbps overhead ensures that I’m not sitting around waiting for progress bars when I should be editing. It handles everything from SSDs to card readers with a rock-solid connection, which is essential when managing a complex "tech nest" of devices. The build quality is impressive for a compact dongle. It fits securely into the USB-C ports of both my iPhone and iPad without any wobble, and the plug-and-play functionality is seamless across various operating systems. Whether I’m using it for a quick file swap or as a permanent fixture in my mobile edit suite, it has proven to be a durable and efficient solution. For anyone managing a high volume of hardware and looking to streamline their mobile productivity, this is a highly effective way to expand your device's capabilities while keeping the power flowing.

Functional, with a nice surprise too
I can definitely recommend this adapter for two reasons in particular: it actually supports up to 30W of power input via Power Delivery (confirmed by in-cable meter), plus, it can even connect to two devices or drives at once! Let me explain. The product itself is alright, the build quality is what you would expect for something like this, but it doesn't feel like it's going to break instantly or anything like that. It's pretty plug-and-play too. I tried a USB A drive, and iOS picked it up just fine. Out of curiosity, I tried a USB C drive next, and it was able to detect it as well. Thinking it wouldn't work, I plugged in two drives at once, and it actually saw them both without any issues! It even showed up in Final Cut Camera & the built-in Camera app too, and successfully wrote a video file to the connected drive. If you want a USB adapter that can serve two purposes at once, I think this might be a good one to get, but you might want to look elsewhere if you have an iPhone 17 Pro or newer, unless you don't mind slower charging speeds, as those devices can request up to 40 watts of power, where this one can go up to about 30 watts.

Small, compact, and gets a job done.
So far this adapter has been perfect. I use it for my MacBook Pro and it solves a problem of not having a regular USB a plug. Also, the fact that it’s so small flat and compact, it does not take up a lot of space in my carrying case. I also like the fact that it has an additional USB-C port on it so you don’t lose a port while trying to plug in your USBA. The adapter looks and feels very premium, almost like an Apple product. This adapter is very straightforward, just plug and play and you’re good to go, no extra program or app needed to install. As far as the transfer speed I haven’t noticed any lag, but I have not processed a big file yet. If I notice any slowing, I’ll update my review. On an offer every day usage and the compact size. The functionality of this unit is perfect.

Great adapter from USB-C to USB!
I got this adapter for a specific application. I use my iPad to count votes in an art show, and each entry is numbered. It's far easier to count the votes using a 10-key. So I bought one a few years ago, and its bluetooth dongle needs a USB port, which was compatible with a laptop (which I borrowed for the Google Sheets program back then). Once I got an iPad, I decided it would be far more convenient to use that instead of the old laptop. However, it takes a USB-C, which means I'd need an adapter to be able to make the 10-key compatible with my iPad. Enter this cool thingamajig! It plugs into my iPad easily, and I can plug the USB dongle into it and use my 10-key with ease. The fact that it has a short cord is handy and makes it more durable. I haven't noticed any kind of slowness to the 10-key with the adapter at all. Fully compatible and functional, so hooray!

Fast, reliable, and incredibly useful for modern device connectivity
This USB-C camera adapter is a super useful tool if you need to transfer files quickly while still charging your device. It’s especially great for creators, photographers, or anyone moving photos and videos between devices without relying on a computer. It’s also plug-and-play, so there’s no need for apps or complicated setup. Just connect your USB device (like a flash drive, camera, or card reader), plug in your charger, and you’re ready to go. File access is simple through the device’s file system. A powerful and convenient adapter that combines fast data transfer with simultaneous charging. It’s reliable, easy to use, and extremely versatile — making it a must-have for anyone working across multiple devices.

Great for reading memory cards
Nice and handy to have around. Makes pulling up things on memory cards a lot easier than having to do the old school connection to my phone. It’s nice and small and I can just easily tuck it away. Great value for the money.
