First this is the only brand of Dash Cam I have ever bought, the reason being that they are the top choice for rideshare driver and since then it have become the gold standard of dashcam. Why? Their customer service is amazing, their product is top of the line, and every piece just work together very nicely and I never had any issues using them. Before this N4S I was using their E360 dashcam which is nice and innovating at the time, however I still enjoy the horizontal screen on dashcam more, this is where the N4S comes in as an upgrade from my previous N4 Pro which is already great. The N4S is an upgrade of the N4 pro in all aspect, higher resolution and support higher memory card storage. Since I have the 12v hardwire already setup in my car, all I had to do is redo the wire a little and easy to mount the new dash cam to the windshield. The dash cam also come with a rear camera which also have very good resolution. I love that the connection for the dash cam itself have GPS built in, the connectivity of the dash cam itself is very simple and it use usb-c connection, as far as power goes, with the 12v hardwire I never have to worry about using the cigarette port because I like my wire hidden, and whenever i start the car it comes right on and when its off it will detect motion impact. I love that the resolution is very clear on 3 channel, this is the most important in terms of dash cam when you need to have clear details if something happen to the car. The dash cam comes with everything you need in the box for setup, its great value for money you can get on dash cam. The quality of the camera is solid, very nice built, and when I power on the first time it already have the latest firmware installed. There are many other dash cam out there, but I believe this N4S 3 Channel Dash Cam is great for everyone, it have all the features you need for a dash cam. I spent a lot of time looking at dash cams before settling on this one because I didnt want to buy something that looked great on paper but fell apart where it really matters, especially at night. So far, the N4S seems like a really solid setup. The biggest reason I was interested in it was the full coverage. Front, rear, and inside all in one system just gives a lot more peace of mind. What impressed me most is the night video. That’s where a dash cam either proves itself or doesn’t. This one does a pretty good job, and the plate readability setting is not just some gimmick. You can actually see a difference in real world use. The interior camera is nice to have too, especially if you ever want that extra layer of protection inside the vehicle. The main thing buyers need to know is the newer RC18 rear camera is not waterproof. That is a big detail, and I think some people could easily miss it if they assume it’s like older rear cameras. So just know that going in before you plan your install. It’s also not one of those “stick it up in 5 minutes and done” kind of dash cams. With 3 channels, there’s more wiring and a little more patience involved. But that’s kind of the tradeoff for getting better coverage. Overall, I like it. It seems like Vantrue got a lot right with this model. Good video, better peace of mind, and useful features that actually matter. Just make sure the non-waterproof rear camera fits your setup before you buy. I've included daytime raw footage from the camera so you can see an accurate representation of the video. The new Vantrue N4S 3 channel dash cam is the third Vantrue cam that I've owned. I've been nothing but pleased with their products and this new model is my personal favorite thus far. It combines all the best features of the previous two models that I've owned and puts it all together in one model. Vantrue clearly learns from each generation, and their continuous innovation really shows in the quality of this camera. The adhesive, mounts and the rear rotating camera made the installation easy and ensure that the camera stays installed. The 3 cameras ensure that the blind spots are limited and allows recording of the inside cab which ensures safety and security for people inside the vehicle. The recording quality is clear whether at day or night and the camera is affordably priced. I couldn't ask for much more.

I upgraded from the E360 as I wasn't the biggest fan of the fish-dome panoramic view; to each their own. The quality on the N4S is good and the front camera can record up to 2592x1944p while the cabin and rear camera simultaneously record at 2560x1440p. This means the front camera will have a slightly vertically stretched appearance compared to the cabin/rear camera which is more proportional; it looks odd, but you can use editing software to make it appear proportional if necessary as additional pixel could be important in seeing additional details in a hit-and-run scenario. In order to run it at the maximum resolution settings as I just mentioned, you will need a very high-end MicroSD card, otherwise you will encounter "Slow Card" error every 1 minute and the dashcam will be unusable at those settings. App connectivity is not the worst thing ever and you can update the firmware OTA after trying several times. This isn't the highest end dashcam, but it's good bang for the buck and most likely worth it for the price point.

I’m honestly pretty happy with this dash cam so far. The video quality is clear during the day and still solid at night, which was important to me. Having three cameras (front, rear, and inside) is a big plus and gives extra peace of mind while driving. Setup wasn’t too difficult, and the app makes it easy to review footage on my phone. Everything has been working smoothly without any issues. Overall, it feels like a reliable and well-built device. If you’re looking for a dash cam with full coverage, this one is definitely worth considering.

Replaced my original Vantrue dash cam with the N4S 3 channel. Unfortunately, the performance from the N4S falls short in two areas for me. The first is overheating and shutting down in mild spring weather. Temperatures around 60 to 75 degrees fahrenheit. The resolution settings are at 1440+1080+1440, which is middle of the road for what is offered. I’ve tried the lowest resolution setting and the results are the same. The screen shows an orange box stating that the dash cam is too hot and will not work until it reaches a safe operating temperature. When the dash cam overheats, happens almost everyday, it will not reach a safe temperature and is pretty much useless until I get home and park inside my garage. With the AC on max, recording on a low resolution setting, and trying to use only the front and rear cams, I get the same result… overheating. I’ve also tried just running the dash cam alone and unplugging the rear cams and it still overheats. All cables are from Vantrue and I’ve tried Anker usb-c cables but again the result is overheating. The second issue is the type of micro sd you have to use. I’ve only had luck with a sandisk express. I’ve tried several memory cards with near identical write and read speeds to the sandisk but those cards are too slow. Regardless of the resolution, outside temps, and only using front and rear cams, I see a prompt that says card is too slow. You’ll most likely have to upgrade your micro sd card so account for that in the total price for this dashcam. $209 for the N4S and $90 for the sandisk express micro sd just to have an overheating or card issue. Sorry, only a one star rating because I expected another great dash cam from Vantrue. Not sure what happened with the N4S but it looks like these are known issues with no real solutions. I should’ve researched a bit more instead of just trusting Vantrue. They missed the mark and a lot of wasted time for me trying to make this dash cam work.

So far so good. It was easy to install and video quality is good. It is a bit heavier than I expected but it is a non issue since it is sticking to the windshield pretty good so far, no issues. Software and configuration is pretty user friendly
