I have a glass cooktop which is so much easier to clean than my previous stoves. It has a little section labeled, "Keep Warm" This is similar to that section on my stove. The problem with it being on my stove is that it's just a small spot, plus I'm often still cooking on my stove at the same time so I don't have room for anything to be on there just to stay warm. This warming tray was the solution. Now I have plenty of room. I can get one dish ready, move it to the table and finish the other ones while the first one stays warm. This looks good while on my table as well. We just put on a wedding last week. We didn't bring this with us and so we didn't have this option. The food wasn't warm for the people toward the end of the line. I like that it comes in two pieces for storage benefit. Easy to use. Easy to clean. Portable. Functional. I'm giving a family member one for her birthday who hosts a lot of gatherings. I think she'll really appreciate it.
