60 Dot Mouse Skates, High-Density PTFE for Glass & Cloth Mousepads, Rounded Polished Edges - Quiet, Smooth Glide, Compatible with GPW/GPW2 & More Gaming Mice

I received the Tomida "60 Dot Mouse Skates, High-Density PTFE for Glass & Cloth Mousepads, Rounded Polished Edges - Quiet, Smooth Glide, Compatible with GPW/GPW2 & More Gaming Mice" as part of the Amazon Vine program. The product was provided at no cost in return for an honest review. I've been using a couple on my Logitech G502 Hero mouse for a few days, and they've held up well, so far. Size: They're a bit thicker and smaller in diameter than I expected. They are approximately 0.036 in (0.91 mm) tall. Their diameter is 0.235 in (5.97 mm). That's not necessarily a problem, but keep this in mind if you plan to install on a non-recessed surface of your mouse and still use the other pads. Also, it limits their efficacy on soft surface mousepads. That being said, a quantity of 60 is a lot. You could cover a large percentage of your mouse with this many! Application: Application is simple. Three glue removal towelettes and three ethyl alcohol towelettes are included in the package to assist with surface preparation. The glue removal wipes are not labeled with the solvent contained. I probably won't use those. Also, if you want to keep some of these for future use, it might make sense to store the towelettes separately or even discard them. Removal of the dots from the blue plastic sheet was easy, as was placing them on the bottom of my mouse. I used a little isopropyl alcohol to remove and oils before applying, since I had some opened, already. Adhesion: Adhesion is good. I wouldn't recommend removing and reattaching them repeatedly, but at least on my mouse they've stayed in place with no issue. You could probably get away with a time or two if you clean your hands and the mouse surface. Performance: Well, they're Teflon (PTFE) skates, so they're slick! I use a hard mousepad, so they work well for me. If you're using a fabric or soft mousepad, I doubt they'll really offer much - well, unless you use a ton. Being so small in diameter, I'd expect a soft mousepad to still make contact with the bottom of the mouse. As advertised, they are not flat, so the center of the dot makes the most contact with the mousepad and will experience the most friction. As the centers wear down, more of the pressure will be evenly distributed, which will mean a lower coefficient of friction spread across a larger surface area of the dot. I'm curious to see how that affects the feel, but it will take time. Overall, I'm happy I received these from the Amazon Vine program. Pay attention to the size and the thickness of the dot. So far, they work well on my hard surface pad. I plan to replace a larger worn pad on an old Logitech MX518, too. If this is the size and quantity you need, these should serve you well. If you're using a soft pad, it might make sense to look for larger skates, or you could cover the whole underside of your mouse with all these!

Very good PTFE universal skates. They're just small dots, so they will fit pretty much any mouse, but you should be careful if you are using a gaming mouse with very low liftoff sensitivity, as they might be too high if you install them on top of existing skates. As with a lot of such skates, they work best on a hard mousepad, but seem to work well enough on a cloth pad as well. Another thing I like is that, being simple dots, they can be installed on other objects that you might need to slide around, like items on a bookshelf or display that need to be moved often for cleaning. The glue removal wipes they come with do not specify what chemical solvent they use, so I would just use isopropyl alcohol to clean and prep the surface you're putting them onto. Otherwise, these are good, slippery skates that adhere solidly and work well.

These mouse skates work really well and feel noticeably smoother compared to stock feet. The glide is consistent and makes mouse movement feel more effortless. They do exactly what they advertise - very smooth performance on my setup. In fact, they’re so slick that I don’t really feel the need for a mouse pad anymore. Overall, a simple upgrade that performs as expected with no issues so far.

Update! Wow, the seller contacted me and apologized for the mistake. They've since refunded me. Review has been bumped to 5 stars. Skates work well, but I only got 40 skates in my package. They glide nicely across my mouse pad and work better than the glass mouse skates I'd bought before, since those reacted to humidity. I already put these skates on my mouse before I noticed I was missing 20, so I can't return them now, unfortunately. They are a little faster than what I'm used to, but nothing I couldn't deal with over time with practice.

The glide is smooth af 10 out of 10

decent feeling skates but they wear incredibly fast on a glass pad or even a wood desk have to switch then out every 10 hours of play which is like once a day for me definitely wont be rebuying feel good on cloth though too and wont wear.
