Cheap Version Of A Must Have Tool
I used this while doing brake work on my 1996 BMW Z3. Old BMW hubs love to build rust, and that makes wheels stick and sometimes causes vibration. I ran this on a drill after pulling the wheel and rotor, and it cleaned the hub face and center lip fast. Way faster than hand sanding. It does exactly what the pro shop tools do. Spins a coarse nylon style pad that knocks rust and corrosion down to clean metal. After using it, the wheel sits flat again and comes off without a fight. If you have ever had to kick a stuck BMW wheel, you know why this matters. Pros are simple. It saves time. It reaches the full hub face easily. It fits over lug bolts or studs. It works fine on a regular drill, no impact needed. For the price, it is hard to argue with the results. I do disagree with the amazon description, you cannot use this with the wheel on the car. The wheel has to be off or you are just polishing air... The pads also will not last forever, but that is expected at this price. If you do your own brakes or wheel swaps, especially on a hub centric car, this is worth owning. Clean the hub, add a thin layer of anti seize on the lip, and thank yourself later.

Essential Prep for a Smooth Brake Job—High-Quality Rust Removal
I previously used a similar hub cleaning kit that completely saved my rotors from being scrapped, so I knew exactly what to look for when picking up this set from Kodisp. Based on my initial inspection, the build quality and pad density are identical to the more expensive kits, and it feels just as durable. Why This Tool Is a Must for DIY Brake Work: • Prevents Brake Shudder: If you've ever felt that annoying vibration after a brake job, it’s often because the rotor isn't sitting flat against a rusty hub. This tool polishes that surface back to bare metal in seconds, ensuring perfect rotor alignment (zero runout). • High-Quality Abrasive Pads: The kit comes with 5 replacement pads that feel very aggressive and thick. They are designed to "bite" through heavy corrosion and pitting without damaging the wheel studs. • Universal Compatibility: It fits perfectly onto my impact wrench and standard power drill. The center hole is sized correctly to clear the wheel studs, so you don't have to worry about awkward angles or manual wire brushing. • Pro-Grade Build: The adapter is solid metal and the hook-and-loop attachment for the pads is strong—essential when you're spinning it at high RPMs to clear away years of road salt and grime. Final Thoughts: I’m saving this specifically for my spring brake overhaul, but having compared it side-by-side with the other wheel-hub cleaning kit I acquired a few months ago and have used with great results, this Kodisp version is a winner. It’s an "insurance policy" for your brakes—spending five minutes cleaning your hubs now can save you the cost of a full set of new rotors later. Highly recommended for any home mechanic who wants a factory-smooth finish on their next brake job.

Works fine. Be careful not to go overboard.
Works well getting into the hard to reach areas around the stud and between the stub and the center hub. It leaves the wheel nice and clean, but make sure not to overdue it as you don't want to damage the hub surface or make it uneven. It comes with a lot of replacement pads which is nice. This is the the exact same product as the dozens of other listings, so shop around and see what's the best value for your money. This one seems pretty good because of the number of replacement pads it includes, but look around. The only potential failure point I see is the hook and loop. Time will tell how well it holds up and if it looses grip over multiple pad changes.

These wheels are clean!
Finally, a way to really clean a badly caked on aluminum wheel. I have bought so many creams, polishers, brushes, power hoses and nothing has gotten the caked on brake dust off my aluminum rims. And since I've never been able to get it clean it keeps getting dirtier and dirtier. I thought I was going to have to send them out to be walnut blasted and that whole process is too complicated and expensive for me to tackle. These are just the right size to fit in between all the holes and it snaps into my Ryobi drill. It looked like the claiming material would be too abrasive but it's actually just right to get off the dirt and debris and leave the rim shining. I really like that this comes with an extra adapter so you can use this on your impact drill or gun with a 1/2 inch connector. The other thing that's fantastic is that this is a click lock connector. My drill also has a click lock connector which has saved me from dropping untold number of bits into my car engine or down to the ground when I'm working on a ladder. These are Velcro on pads and the holder appears to be a lightweight aluminum. I would not use too much pressure on these so as not to damage your wheels or bend the shaft.

Amazing Tool — Makes Wheel Hub Prep Fast and Easy!
I’m honestly impressed with this wheel hub cleaning tool kit. It’s quickly become a must-have in my garage for brake jobs, wheel changes, and rotor installs. I used it with my handheld drill, and it worked perfectly — powerful enough to remove rust and corrosion while still being easy to control. It also worked well with my 1/2" impact wrench, as they include an adapter as well. Before using this tool, I spent way too much time scraping hubs by hand with wire brushes, and they still never came out as clean as I wanted. This kit makes the job fast and effective, cleaning around the wheel studs and hub surface so everything seats flush the way it should. POSITIVES: Super easy to use with a regular handheld drill or 1/2" impact wrench. Cleans rust and buildup quickly and evenly Saves a ton of time compared to manual brushing. Helps ensure wheels and rotors sit properly, reducing the chance of vibration. If you do your own brake or wheel work, this tool is absolutely worth it. Simple, effective, and it makes a noticeable difference in the quality of the job. Highly recommended!
