Ive got an ancient (by TV standards, think its about 11 years old) Insignia LCD HDTV where the side panel buttons no longer function. The remote finally shorted and I wondered where Id find a new one - the TV was nonfunctional without it.This remote is perfect. No programming needed. Its a near identical remake of the original. The parts seem to be a bit lighter weight and some of the buttons are different colors from original, but in all other aspects its the same and it works identically to the original remote. It even says "Insignia" on it.If you need to replace your remote to a small (larger TVs used a different remote) Insignia NS-LCD**-09 series and have it show up fast, this is the remote to buy.

Well this Smartby worked perfectly for me to remotely control an Insignia TV. I always appreciate it when a replacement product just works (because we all know what it's like to program one of those "other" replacement remotes, right? Nope no need to type in 50 different codes hoping to find a match with this one. Excellent. All that said, the tv stopped working shortly after getting all this working (doh!) so I ended up going the inexpensive projector (https://amzn.to/3W2R2FU) and big screen route instead. I think I'm happier with this but the Smartby still seems like s smart buy.

I put batteries in the remote, pressed the power button, and the TV came on immediately. No setup or programming required. When I bought the remote I wasn't sure if that was my problem. I was ready to junk the TV. I decided to take a chance on a new remote, and I'm glad I did.

Remote Control works as advertised. Easy to use, just put in batteries and it's ready to go. I like that it says "Insignia" on the controller.

Well my TV is pretty old has a ruku box because it isnt a smart TV so its older but still good. My remote stopped working years ago and I hated having to get up and switch the input all the time just to watch netfix or starz so I got this new remote and to my surprise it actually worked just like my old one did. Now i can be more lazy and use the remote. Perfect....Make sure to look at the back of your TV and get the correct item number because there are more then one.

I ordered this after reading the reviews. YES, it works right away. No hunting for codes no nothing. Just put batteries in and point to the insignia television and whalla....... works right away. IM very very happy !!!!!

I’ve purchased this before without issue. This one I didn’t open immediately because in the past it wasn’t a problem. This time the product is a waste. It doesn’t work.
