I lowered my rating because they did not think out the strap, the leather will keep the emergency key from coming out if I can't open my door. My wife bought some for her chystler van, and they didn't tie the leather all the way up, so you can get her key out, but for the Tucson, they put the leather over the emergency key, and added a screw, so if you are locked out of your car, you have to have a small screwdriver with you to get the emergency key out to get in your car. I threw the strap away, so that I would not have that problem, and put a small key ring on just the emergency key to be able to hang my key.

Perfect Fit for My 2018 Elantra SedanThis Key Fob Case is made from leather that is the perfect thickness. As other reviews state, the Fit is Snug, but it is NOT too small. After reading other reviews and a quick test fit, I used my wife's hair dryer to warm up the leather and My fingers to loosen it up JUST a LITTLE. The Stitching is heavy duty and the leather strong, so a little finger tugging did the trick. The Buton Icons are correct and line up perfectly with the Fob. It comes with a Key Chain that You attache with a screwdriver that is included. The Fastening System (Threaded Rod and Shackle ) is strong. I'm a strong enough male and did cranked down on the threaded rod as I attached it to the shackle Strap. I was careful to not strip it, but the assembly is strong and tightened down well. I did use a drop or two of @Loctite-blue on the threads. Absolutely Perfect. Exceeded My Expectations !

Wife initially like this. Then two days after having it, while walking, it broke and would have lost her key fob if a stranger didn't call to her and tell her she "dropped" it. The metal pin had came out. When I put it together I had tightened it securely. Guess I should have used "locktite". She still uses the leather wrap, I just attached it to a different type of key ring holder. Do not rely on the key ring holder.

Pretty decent key fob cover, best on the market in my opinion. Stitching looks well done, overall key feel is great. Didn't use the strap that came with the cover as it was a tad too long for my taste. The cover fit is a little small and needed a little extra push in order to get my key inside. (Not sure if I can take the key back out) Other than that, I won't lose the control buttons part since it can't separate on its own anymore.

For the most part, it works! Hyundai made a stupid key fob for you to loose easily but this case does a great job of keeping it together. I’m not that much a fan of the color choice but if it were up to me I would have preferred a black stitching on black leather.UPDATE: IT BROKE WITH TWO MONTHS OF NORMAL USE. WOULD LOOK ELS WHERE FOR SOMETHING MORE DURABLE

I actually bought this because I, too, have temporarily lost my fob when the valet key detached. What a terrible design and Hyundai is apparently ignoring the problem. This cover effectively prevents accidental key detachment. It is surprisingly well-made and attractive, too. I am very pleased with this product and feel I made a great choice.

Product is of good quality as far as the quality of the leather is concerned. I even liked how large and easy the clip portion was. Unfortunately after having the product for less than a week, the clip portion broke and almost caused me to lose my key fob. I sadly procrastinated and missed my return window. So I decided to remove the braided keychain portion and put the remainder on my regular key ring and it has been working fine that way.

The strap was in the way and useless for me. It is bulky which defeats the purpose of having a small fob. That being said, the cover itself is nice. It looks stylish and seems well constructed. I ditched the strap and instead used a Nite-Ize S Carabiner. Think of it as a traditional spring key ring without the aggravation of trying to split this open to add or remove and item. You can use it to attach to other keys, your belt loop, bag, etc.
