My wife work shifts so quite a few times we don’t see each other for days as she leaves for work before I get home from work, my wife is always saying we waste so much paper by leaving notes for each other, then this 2 pack of A4 chalk boards with stands came up for review and I thought this would be a great way to leave messages with no paper wastage at all. You get 2 A4 chalk boards with 2 stands, you get a cleaning cloth and 3 chalks, a red, blue and white one, these chalks are so easy to write on the board, the chalk is inside a see through casing so you don’t get chalk on your hands, when the chalk gets low you simply twist the casing for more chalk to appear, you get a pink cleaning cloth, the chalk boards are double sided so can have writing on both sides, a great feature in my opinion. You can also use the boards landscape or portrait, 2 chalks will also stand on the base if you want the chalk nearby. I like the design of the chalk board as it is curved at the top. Both myself and my wife absolutely love these chalk boards, they look good, they are a great size for leaving messages, they also save on paper wastage. I would give these chalk boards more than 5 stars if I could, I feel that they are excellent value for money and I highly, highly recommend.

Arrives well packaged with markings on the box to inform the delivery driver not to stack items on the box. Mine arrived in perfect condition and I damaged with two chalk boards. Strong wooden base with comfortably fitting slot for the chalk board. Stands upright well with no leaning issues or viewing angle issues. Comes with three chalk pens and a cloth (need to wet this to clean the board) in addition to the board. The picture they use however for ice cream I think has used almost every colour that is not included with this pack. The chalk doesn’t show as bright as the picture indicates either - it almost feels like using a wax crayon rather than chalk. The applied chalk cleans off easily with the cloth supplied. You can chalk on both sides of the board so may make it ideal if your using in an area where both sides can be seen - or you want to promote different items at various times of day and turn over your already prepared other side. Overall, good idea. I’ll be using at home at bbq to let people know what drinks are available - saves me having to reel the list off everytime and allows me to plan for set drinks. Great for business use too - probably more so than at home. I’m probably going to get some more chalk pens though for a nice finish and more colour options.

My wife is a home cake baker who has hired our local Pop-Up Shop for the weeks leading up to both Mother’s Day and Easter this year, for the first time. Although we haven’t used these for our hire of the shop for Mother’s Day (the shop window on either side of the shop’s front door is way too full of stock), we will use them for our week’s hire during the week before Easter. We have already tested these two impressive chalkboards to great effect. The stands feel strong and stable. Neither of us is an artist, so we will limit ourselves to providing simple handwritten information to our customers. This won’t be much information, but it will provide general pointers to help their decision-making. The boards are only A4 in size, so we do need to make the writing useful and legible. The supplied chalks and cleaning cloth work very well indeed, and are a good start. Although I suspect we will need a few more chalks, of different colours, in the short and long term to make full use of these good-quality boards. When I mentioned to my wife that I was about to write the review for these chalkboards, she suggested buying chalk pens rather than using simple chalks. I would have to agree, as I feel that they would provide a much more useful At the time of this review, this pair of A4 chalkboards were just under £19, offering good value for money. Five stars.
