Fertile Chicken Hatching Eggs

Very good eggs, but only one hatched due to the delivery process, that resulted in strong shakes...

Delivery of the fertilized eggs were actually quite fast. However, the results were a big disappointment. We followed the directions to the teeth with the temperature control and monitoring of the incubator, and turning of the eggs daily. 24 days gone by and still nothing hatched. My 7 years old son was greatly disappointed after spending the last 24 days with high hope of an egg hatching.

Out of all the eggs we got from the seller, one arrived broken, no biggie. We put these in the incubator with some of our own eggs and had an excellent hatch rate. I've been there done that, but the wife really got a kick out of watching the whole process and I don't think she left the incubator during the pip and hatch stage LOL. Thank you to the seller for selling real deal fertile eggs, we had our own as well but wanted to add some variety to our flock. I've no idea what breeds we ended up with, but 'Goldie' is one of the ones that we got from this seller, and she avoided the 2002 'raccoon massacre' and survived, she's one of our favs.

So I received my eggs sometime in the evening and wasn’t notified until the morning they arrived. Usually they are placed on my gate with a picture but this time they were put in my mailbox. The temperature at night dropped to 55 degrees so retrieved them in the morning and placed them in my warmer right away. 1 egg has a small crack so put some tape on it as I’ve done this before in the past and still was successful. I received 8 total so will check in a few days and see if their are signs that they are fertile.

I ordered 6 eggs. 6 eggs arrived fully intact! They were all fertilized and 4 ended up hatching. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because they were not shipped on time and arrived almost a week later that anticipated. They were worth the wait though because I now have 4 beautiful baby chicks to start my first flock!

Although I did have an issue with eggs not hatching the seller immediately offered to replace the eggs due to the low hatch rate. Due to the seller willing to help me I am giving her 5 stars. Not all sellers will be willing to replace eggs that weren't fertile.

First I’d say read closely. They are shipping from East coast, I live on west. Slight delay in arrival may have had impact. Upon arrival X marked all and slid under broody hens. Checked daily, all looked well. Reached day 21, now day 24. Nothing hatched. Disappointing to say the least. Will see if I can find a closer farm. Messaged this farm with outcome. No response.

They arrived early which was great and they were not broken at all but that night four of them started leaking this yellow crystal like substance and so I wiped it away but then I immediately came back so I took those eggs out because I didn’t want anything to happen to my other eggs and again this morning another one of the eggs did the same and turned out to be bad and I started out with 6 of them and now I have one and all the rest of the eggs I already had in the incubator have nothing wrong with them so I’m a little disappointed because the ones that were bad I was excited for because they were a different type of breed then what I already had.
