Like my other 8bitdo controller for my switch, this new controller feels great. it works for my launch Xbox one as a great player 2 controller, also plays great on my laptop. Only thing is I wish the windows software had a few more features.

I have used this since I bought it, and at first wasn't a fan because of the stick layout. However, now that I am used to it I cannot go back to the original Xbox controllers. The fit is perfect, and the placement of sticks allows for flawless execution in games such as COD or Madden. Vibration wise is perfect though in most games can be tweaked. I would purchase this again, only issue is after such long useage ( and a few drops) it broke the trigger, however even being damaged still functions perfectly.

Everything shown and said was in the box and nothing was broken, the controller itself is very good.

I like symmetrical analog sticks and the DualSense is my favorite controller, so that is what initially attracted me to this controller. The Xbox layout is much more supported on pc games (the PlayStation controller mostly works but not for all games for some stupid reason). This controller fits nicely in my hand and the triggers and buttons feel good. I like the triggers on the Xbox series controllers the best, but these aren’t bad and certainly don’t hold back my play. The handles could use more texture/grip, not something I ever really considered until handling the DualSense and series controllers but after using those it’s hard to go back. The two programmable back paddles are a nice touch and something I never really knew I wanted but now really hate going to controllers without them. I know a lot of the “pro” controllers have 4 back paddles but two seems to be plenty and mostly I have just one button mapped to them. Overall it is pretty good but they could improve on the grip and triggers. I would say it feels most closely to a DualShock 4 controller.

This controller is exactly what I was looking for — symmetrical layout (none of that awkward offset design like standard Xbox controllers) and Hall effect analog sticks. Everything works perfectly. The D-pad and buttons feel excellent, and the Hall effect sticks are smooth and precise. The overall build is fantastic — perfect weight, great ergonomics, and responsive buttons. Absolutely love it.

Terrible build quality. Usb port broke in less than a week from normal use. It was wiggly right out of the box and progressively got worse until it no longer registered a connection. Why bother making a wired controller if it isn't hard wired?

Great controller—my only complaint is that the vibration motor isn't great; it makes the controller feel cheap.

Purchased on sale for 36cad, incredibly good for the price. The build quality is very solid, doesn't feel flimsy and cheap like my past ps4 controller. Layout is entirely comfortable in my hands and the back buttons are very nice to have. Very happy with my purchase.

Want to play Xbox/PC games with your thumbs at the same angle away from your hand while never having to worry about controller drift ever again? The usb-c connector is deep set, so many of your chonkier cables will not seat, so don’t fubar the wire it comes with, as I’m guessing you don’t want to play the “will it seat?” game with every cable in the junk drawer. Ain’t nobody got time for that! Let’s just say that I didn’t look too hard for extra cables from 8bitdo directly, which may or may not be a result of too many distracting nifty retro-vibe products to get far into support menus. Not that I broke my own wire, or anything….Why would you think this rant is anything but coincidence? Even if I did, it for sure wasn’t user error and it totally was some sort of indescribable, unrepeatable, and absolutely unverifiable manufacturing issue! Yeah! Yeah, that’s what happened, no wait, this is all hypothetical ofc So take care of that usb-a side, you never know when the unverifiable will happen at the exact moment when you might/might not have put the usb-a in the wrong way. For the third time.

Well, ergonomics are very important when it comes to controller design and it’s not there.

I love this controller, plug and play no setup needed. I don't feel any lag, and build quality is SOLID, it feels like you're holding a quality controller. Highly recommended
