Already happy that I bought these!
I read the mixed reviews and wasn't sure if my picky eaters would take these, and amazingly BOTH DID!!! One of my cats is near the very end of her life. She's stopped taking most food and is barely drinking because of her urinary problems. The prognosis doesn't look good, and the care is extremely expensive. I took a look shot with this, just hoping to ease maybe some of her discomfort. I had it shipped overnight and was just hoping that at least one of my cats with urinary problems would take them. They wanted more after giving them the recommended amount (I didn't oblige, they weren't that happy about that part). She ate the whole thing after I broke it into crumbles!! I really don't know that this will be enough for her, but I had to try something, anything! So far, extremely pleased. I will update if anything changes (but it probably won't be the fault of the product). Update: both of them LOVE these treats still and I think it's bringing my baby back to us! I can't say that it's the treats alone, I'm sure they are correcting something though that was causing her major issues. She's eating and drinking quite a bit better after a few days of these! Second update: Our precious girl passed on. Our other cat still craves the treats, actually has a habit of never letting us forget to feed him one. He seems to have no issues with UTI problems. We're definitely pleased with the product and purchase it regularly now.

Highly recommend (both by me and Cat) for UT issues
My cat gets cysts in her bladder from stress. After a particularly bad flair up the vet recommended these. Within 24 hours of her first one she was already showing signs of improvement!! Will definitely be adding to her daily supplements. Bonus: she's a pretty picky eater. Like to have her space. A grazer. She it EAT these OUT OF MY HAND!

6 cats none will eat
I have a male cat with urinary problems. My vet recommended this product to help. It arrived and I opened the package to begin giving it to him. The chews, and I use that term only because the manufacturer lists it as being so, are very hard and large for a cat. I broke it in half to give it to him. He sniffed it and walked away. Several of my other cats came when they heard me open the package thing it was a treat so I offered a piece to them. All except one female sniffed & walked away. The female licked it and tried to bite it then immediately spit it out. Our new kitten who will eat anything gave it a sniff and walked away. 6 cats and no takers. Kinda a worthless treat if it's so unpalatable that all my cats refuse to eat it. I figured I'd wait until later when my sick boy was hungrier to make another try. I broke it into very small bits, did I mention it was very hard, which was a challenge. I then mixed it with his wet dinner good. He took a few licks and again walked away. Needless to say this product is worthless if I can't get my cat to eat it. Even more so when all 6 cats refuse to eat it.

My Cats Don't Get It (with Update)
Neither of my cats understand what to do with these, refuse to eat them, and eat around them when mixed into foods. They seem like fine quality treats but they are hard and crumbly chews, not soft. The packaging is sturdy and resealable. UPDATE: It took some clever thinking on my end, but I am able to trick one cat into eating the treat and got the other cat to realize she actually likes them. For the tricked cat, these treats were meant for his FIC and I was initially stumped as to what to do with the treat because it was listed as a soft treat. It didn't cross my mind to try crushing the treat at first, but I learned it does crumble with a spoon into a fine powder that I can mix into his dinner wetfood. He has been eating it just fine that way. For the other cat, she had no idea what was going on with this treat at first. She's never taken to any fruits or vegetables so I didn't think she'd take to this at all. It turns out that cutting these into smaller pieces was what she wanted. She still isn't thrilled about them by themselves so I cut them up and put them on top of her regular kibble and she doesn't seem deterred. I'm happy they can get some benefits from it!! I had some learning curve but, with cats, there always seems to be some work put into new foods :)

She only ate 1
She only ate 1, sigh. My kitty ate 1 like it was the best thing on the planet then promptly refused to acknowledge any more. I got the powdered format to try but have low hopes she will eat it. She is not a great eater and picky about her food.

Effective product for cats with UTIs
This product has been a lifesaver for my two year old male cat. He suffered with bladder problems and UTIs and I was searching for a natural, safe preventative treatment. At least for him, this has worked perfectly and he has been on it for about four months. He takes these "treats" twice a day and I also give him Tinkle Time (sold on Amazon as well with rave reviews) twice per day mixed in his wet food. I have had multiple cats over the years and this is the first time I have experiences this agonizing problem with a pet. I think the ingredient in these tabs that is truly effective is the D-Mannose. It is a sugar found in cranberries (but it does not raise blood sugar in animals or humans) it goes through the urinary tract. Any foreign bacteria will release from being attached to the body wall and then attach to the D-Mannose molecules (keeping the urinary tract sterile and healthy), and is then flushed out of the animal's system when they urinate. It is commonly used by women and young childern who get UTIs as well, is natural and completely safe. It is important for any cat with this condition to be kept on a wet food diet because dry food is foreign to cats (their natural prey is not dry) and they are genetically not into drinking enough water to keep their bladder and kidneys flushed out. There are multiple products our there with similar formulas, but for my cat these tabs have been the perfect solution to his problem!

My Cat Loves Them & There is Noticeable Improvement
My three and a half year old male cat developed crystals in his bladder/urine and it was heartbreaking to see him in pain. Several emergency vet visits later, we put him on Royal Canin Urinary SO and I feed him wet food every morning and night, adding water to his food. I started giving Cosequin joint supplements, which I highly recommend for urinary support, but he was still licking himself A LOT in that area, which the vet suggested was due to pain. I am not a fan of giving him pain medications, unless it is necessary, so I looked into other urinary support options. I came across these Vetri-Science UT Strength treats and verified they are safe by my vet. Since adding one to two of these treats daily, I have noticed a big difference with my kitty. He does not over groom himself anymore and we have not experienced any FIC (feline idiopathic cystitis) episodes. Plus, he LOVES the treats! I think they smell awful, but he comes RUNNING whenever I shake the bag and he instantly purrs. I am not sure if it is the treats or Cosequin that helped him (maybe both), but I think it is worth the $8 or so per month to help improve his urinary support!

Cat won't eat these
EDIT: After several failed attempts I finally found a way to get the cat to consume this VetriScience product. Ground product up in a mini food processor, resulting in a more granular but still kinda chunky supplement. Stirred into his wet food which I imagine masks whatever he finds disagreeable. He'll still manage to avoid the bigger pieces but is at least getting most it down. This has worked better than making a paste (too goopy / clumpy) and crushing tablets with a mortar (generating chunks as product is weirdly both hard and moist) ORIGINAL: Before purchasing I saw that "cat won't eat these" is a common complaint on this product. That didn't concern me at all as my cat has never refused any variety of cat food and supplements that I've offered him over our eight years together, including all of his prescription urinary tract foods. A decidedly un-finicky feline, with a happy personality and a lot of confidence. Until now. He ate the first two that I included in scoops of dry food. And that was it. He stopped. From there, I tried softening with some bread in a container so they were kind of gummy, not hard like they came straight out of the bag. I cut them in little pieces, crushed them into little pieces, mixed with water to create something of a paste that could be stirred into wet food. Added them to canned wet food, dry food, shredded chicken that he enjoys โ NOPE! The VetriScience UT product would remain in his bowl, obviously an object of disdain. With this cat and apparently a fair number of others, this VetriScience UT product is a total fail. Given the number of โcat wonโt eat this" complaints, it would seem VetriScience needs to tweak the formula to make the product more appetizing, or offer flavors other than "chicken liver." Unfortunately I have no way to determine whether this product would help with his elevated pH levels unless I try administering intravenously or as suppositories. Um, no.

Great product!
My cat liked them at first but now I have to break them up and hide it in her food. I noticed a great improvement in my cat after only a few days. Definetly recommend this product.

Great for cats prone to bladder infection and history of crystals
This product in conjunction with special diet food saved my catโs life! Very pleased as he was still getting bladder infections after 2 surgeries. Been feeding him this supplement for about 6 months now and so far so good :)

It looks pretty good though
One of my cats likes this treat. My other cat took a pass. I had to put it in his mouth. He spat it out. But he's really picky. It looks pretty good though. Quality is there.

Contains Toxic Seed Oils
Disappointed. Contains toxic seed oils, vegetable and safflower. Pass. If VetriScience cleans it up we will purchase again.
