How to Get Expelled From School: A guide to climate change for pupils, parents and punters

Ian Pilger Is probably the most cable scientist in the world to expose the abject hypocrisy of the left wing climate industry based upon his knowledge of climate and geological history of the earth. Bravo for this simpler description of the science in his earlier book. A must read for students and their teachers.

It's packed with the truth. Following his landmark book "Heaven and Earth - Global Warming - the Missing Science", Professor Plimer has come out with yet another blockbuster report focusing in part on both the 'sloppy' (for lack of a better word) science and the left-wing politics of the ridiculous greens, their political enablers - who do it for control, not to save the planet - and their crony capitalist buddies in the renewables industry. Plimer emphasizes that geologists are the true climate historians ... that geological samples, from core drilling, are "a three-dimensional truth detector about the Earth's climate history". Unlike the very comprehensive 'long book', which I would call the layman's Bible of climate, "Heaven and Earth ...", this book moves with pace and is easily absorbed by the most casual reader. It's revelations are compelling and undeniable. The 'man-maders' rely quite heavily on the notion that the Earth heats up due to long wave radiation being reflected by an ever growing layer of "greenhouse gasses" in what many term the atmospheric greenhouse effect. Plimer notes that this notion of how the atmosphere transfers heat is wrong in many regards. In discussing the notion of the 'man-maders' regarding how the thermal physics of the atmosphere really operates, Plimer employs the analogy of a symphony orchestra: "The climate system is like an orchestra. The conductor of the orchestra is the sun. Water vapor is first violins and carbon dioxide the second violins. The second violins follow the first violins and the whole orchestra follows the conductor. Yet we are being told that the second violins instruct the conductor - and the music we hear from the orchestra only comes from the second violins."

A good read. A bit basic but entertaining and somewhat informational

Ian Plimer's book "how to get expelled from school" was skillfully written as an apology to his book, "Heaven and Earth - The Missing Science." I am not a scientist but earned the reputation of a skilled investigator, acquired in my lengthy investigation and report of the Sunshine Mine Fire Disaster of May 2, 1972. Among the many books I read about climate change, Heaven and Earth was by far the best documented. He earned a B.Sc. in mining engineering at the University of New South Wales in 1968, and a Ph.D. in Geology at Macquarie University in 1976. He was conferred as professor emeritus of earth sciences at the University of Melbourne in 2005. During the time period in which Plimer wrote Heaven and Earth, he received high awards from Australia in his fields of science. "how to get expelled from school" is a masterpiece in peer review. It also displays the need to publish new concepts and apply both support and disagreement with not only new conclusions but with all established science. He convinces me that Ice Core data is far more reliable than a computer model in predicting the effects of CO on climate change.

A must read. More accessible than Heaven and Earth, which is a must read as well.

This should be given to every child in school and every adult who has children, great factual pushback against the indoctrination happening in schools

This book should be read by everyone . It balances the environmental global warming theory

Too much personal rant against critics up front. Later data on long term climate experience worth the price of the book 101 question a bit over done Must read along with Ian Morris & E Kirstin Peters for anybody that want the true perspective on climate.

This little book deals with all the questions the school curriculum would rather you didn't ask on your way to distorted reality and being a good British Subject. Don't mention the mediaeval warming period, or the fact that it's only 0.06 degrees per year, or that it was warmer in the 1930s than now (so hang on - what made it cool down?) or the fact that ALL climate change is based on made-up models that don't even agree with each other and cannot reproduce the weather we've already had. Teachers are being fed rubbish too, bless them - but your kids don't need to be affected by that. They can use critical thinking instead, and wouldn't you prefer that?

This is a vitally important book, well written and very readable by all ages. It should be on the shelves of school libraries around the world, although I doubt it will happen at present in the US as most schools have gone totally woke. But hopefully things will change as parents start to awaken to the truth and hold school boards accountable.

I have started on this book and it is proving to be a revelation. And for those who remain sceptical - ask yourself why no accredited scientists will debate the issues raised in this book with the author and before the cameras - his considerable professional reputation against theirs. Closer to my home (in the UK) have you ever asked yourself what the weather was like in Roman Britain when the Romans planted vineyards as far North as Lincolnshire? Global warming then caused by all those chariots' emissions? Best wishes.
