Great scale at a reasonable price.
Works great ! Just follow the instructions and do the calibration first. It is sensitive so I recommend using on a solid surface and no direct air movement around it. If you move it re-calibrate it. The blue back lit display is awesome. Nice big numbers are easy to read. The touch screen works great.Loaded up some rounds and went to the range. No issues with my loads. Glad I went with this model. There are much more expensive models out there, but I don't see the need for it at this time.

Five Stars
Slow but accurate. If you do what it tells you to do and recheck about every 10 shells it works. I only use it for .410 shells that I hand load myself with things from my tool box. When I fire 5 shells I will reload 10 and stay ahead of the game. Great for squirrel loads for the .410 but I would not want to get into loading a lot of boxes at a time with it, like for doves. That is what they make a press for. For anyone wanting to know how to reload small amounts, and don't want to put big money on a press just do what I did. Google " how to lead .410 shells by hand without using a press." And, I don't crimp the .410 shells. I just light a candle and drop hot wax on the shot. The hulls last longer and the candle wax sets up hard in a few hrs.

Great scale and good value
Very nice scale. I replaced a malfunctioning AWS scale with this. The touch screen operates well, and the backlight it great in low light conditions. The scale measures quickly and very accurately. The included powder tray and calibrating weight makes this all you need to measure powder accurately.Only downside is the scale flip cover is too small to accomodate the powder tray, so you have to leave it sitting behind or next to it. I don't weigh items without the tray, so I have to replace it every time I come back.

Works great for a single stage reloader.
I have not had any issues with this scale. It does have a tendency to drift a little after awhile... BUT... I measure one round at a time and do it exactly. I will tare the weight every three or four rounds or so and it has not let me down. Just make sure you turn the fan off and you're not breathing onto the scale while you measure. It is also small enough to put away in my tool chest and because its battery operated theres no hassle of cords.

Very Nice
I have used lots of reloading scales...this is the best I have seen in the mid level price range. I have used this in 4 big sessions, checked against a very expenive balance scale....perfect every time. You can spend A LOT more on a scale...this one is great for under $100.Very easy to read and zero.Like most load cells, they work better when warmed up. Warm it up first!I got an Amazon Basics Samll Universal Travel Case to protect it during storage.

Very sensitive to even light drafts, making the read unstable - don't bother with this one!
While the Lyman Micro-Touch 1500 Electronic Scale is definitely easy to use and read, I find that the reading "flutters" with even light breezes, which then swings in either increasing or decreasing directions by as much as a 7/10th's of a grain. This makes any read I get unstable, and forces me to use my mechanical RCBS scale in order to confirm the reading of the Lyman 1500 Electronic Scale, all of which takes a bit longer.I realize that scale's sensitivity is what the reloader needs, but it does make for some frustrating experiences when a 1-grain overage in a load could become dangerous, or can ruin a precision load.Update on December 29, 2020: This scale is not worth the money. In addition to the instability of the scale's read, as mentioned above, my Lyman scale seems to lose its calibration over the course of extended use. For example, I'll faithfully calibrate it using the included 100-gram weight, leave my workshop for a while, come back, and have the reading consistently be off by as much as 1 grain, which is a huge deviation. This forces me to have to re-calibrate the scale again, on top of the "flutter" issue that I described above and discovered soon after buying it. It's quite absurd that I am forced to use an old-school balance scale instead in order to get more accurate measurements. I don't even bother using my Lyman scale anymore because of this - a waste of time and money, and a shame too. Beware.

Scale does not update when powder is trickled into it.
The scale does not continuously update as weight is added or subtracted. It works ok to double check a weight, but it will not update as powder is trickled in. You have to lift the pan, wait for it to zero, then you weigh again. Sometimes the scale will give different reading by .2 grains just by lifting the pan off, then placing it on the scale again.

Great powder scale
Accurate and easy to use. I found that after trickling in additional powder to come up to the desired charge, it may take a second or two to register on the scale. Accordingly, if I add some more powder, I wait a couple seconds before adding any more so I don't exceed my desired weight. I use the scale on a very firm table, away from heating vents in the room, and plugged in to the AC adapter. I matched the weight given by this Lyman scale against the weight shown by my RCBS balance beam scale and they are both on the money. For anyone who has used a balance beam scale, you know that it may take several seconds before the scale stops moving. The Lyman is rocketship fast by comparison. The Lyman will be my go-to piece of equipment forever. The balance beam scale will go in a box in the closet, never to be seen again.
