Dreadful product-dreadful service from amazon
Awful- don’t buy this product. I did not want to give any stars but had no choice if I wanted to submit this review. My daughter was so desperate for a sewing machine for her 9th birthday. After reviewing carefully all the different options for beginners we went with this model. It was used twice and then stopped working. I am wanting to return the product or exchange this at least, only to see on amazon that the closing date for returns was 31st Jan. This is appalling. I wish I had bought from a shop, I would still at least be able to return. Useless product, useless service from amazon

Poor to thread
I didn't expect much for the money, but as it is aimed at children I did expect it to be a lot simpler to thread up. The tension is also very hard to use and the thread keeps snapping and therefore needs threading up. Not the best and no reverse on the stitching so can't create a secure end to the sewing.

A bit quick for a beginner
I brought this for my 8 year old daughter for Christmas. She has some experience using my big machine and manages that very well. I wanted to get her something that she could use for herself and have set up for her to access to create thing for herself. The machine itself is a great size and comes pre threaded so she could get on with a project straight away. There are 2 speed settings, however even the slowest setting was way too quick for her to control. The stitch length is quite big as well which added to the problem. (And also worth noting, only does straight stitch, no zig zag which could have slowed things down a bit!)I would say it’s a great little machine for someone who already has experience of using a machine and has good control at guided fabric through a machine.

Disappointed doesn't cover it
Why would you put an autosew function on a machine for children? This is the largest of the function buttons and the minute you press it the needle goes up and down with or without fabric, with or without the take up lever being up or down in fact without the machine or machinist being ready at all. The threading is clunky, the tension not good even on a 100% cotton fabric and its hard to get the fabric off the machine. I bought this for my granddaughter to teach her to sew and now wondering how on earth to manage her disappointment.

Expensive and does not sew!!! Rubbish
What a waste if money. It just does not sew, it gets stuck in the tension knob which is absolutely no good whatsoever, it really is a load of rubbish. My granddaughter who watches me sew on my sewing machine was devastated to finally get one of her own and it just jammed and made a mess of everything she tried to sew!!Do not buy!

Don’t buy - terrible machine!
Dreadful machine - don’t waste your money! Bought for my granddaughter and it is difficult to use, can’t get it it set up without the thread jamming all the time. Only way I could pull off the thread holder was with pliers as it was so stiff. I would give this no stars if it was possible - all it has done is almost put a girl off sewing altogether. Even the slowest speed Is too fast for a beginner too and it was very noisy on the couple of times we actually got it working without the thread jamming. Really terrible product!!

Nice little machine
A good size for little hands, very light. Saving for an xmas present but tested on felt and works great. Comes already threaded with accessories. Very happy.

Disappointing
As I’m not great at this stuff I thought it was me not being able to use this properly. But my very sewing skilled friend visited she confirmed this machine was faulty and very difficult to use even it it did work. Unfortunately this was too late to return but I have contacted the manufacturer who no longer make this machine. So sadly money completely wasted.
