Many keep that weary discretion about how obsolescent in build quality most anything is these days. Well this has lasted me through and through with many projects and it has survived many sessions of hand made arts, and waiting time with the glue stick still heating while I adjust things to continue gluing. So it can sit active just fine with some waiting without having to fully shut the hot glue gun off.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I received a defective product

Only used once. I was in the middle of a bigger project and went through 1-2 glue sticks with no problem. Then all of a sudden the trigger stopped pushing the glue forward. After several tries of twisting the glue and pulling the trigger to potentially loosen a clog, I heard crackling and then pools of glue started spitting out the back of the gun. I really have no clue what caused this to happen. I'm willing to give it one more try after exchanging because it worked well for the first few minutes and has good reviews, so I may have just gotten a defective one. I really like the silicone finger protectors that it comes with. It was a bit unsteady with the full glue stick inserted, but was more stable as the glue stick got shorter.
