Pretty nice for the price
It took me a while to figure out why I couldn't get it to work. I tried 4 or 5 different drivers to use it with cgminer. I found forum a post stating that it requires a certain amount of power and I had it connected to the front of my PC at the time. I moved it to the back and after installing the recommended driver with cgminer, it started working right away. For me it averages 16.5Gh/s and will peak around 40Gh/s on occasion operating at 150MHz. I tried to run it at 175 and 200, but it started throwing out bad and rejected hashes so it may be related to a power draw issue. It does get hot, so keep a fan on it at all times to be sure it won't burn out any time soon. Obviously it's not a huge powerhouse but is far better than CPU or GPU mining Bitcoin. Because that is its purpose.

Not work as declared
Sorry, device is beautiful as is, but its hash rate that I saw is about 500kH/s and not match to declared 15GH/s. Attempts to raise up voltage by its regulator leads to destroy it.

Works Very Well
This is a good little device that works quite well. There is an instruction sheet which comes with it. It is a step-by-step guide on how to set it up and get it running. It details all the software and drivers needed. It tends to get very warm so I added the fan in the photo.

Not enough hashing power to be practical
This is a fun little experiment into the world of Bitcoin mining, but without like 300 of these you're not going to pull any profit. My unit had absolutely nothing wrong with it, but the hashing rate on this stick is too low to do any real mining on. Even woth power being not factored into the equation this product MIGHT make $1 USD/month.The blockchain difficulty has risen to the point in which you have better chances playing the lottery than minting a new coin.

Simple device but be careful
Its a simple device, it does mine if you set it up correctly. Be careful about running it at 200 mhz or more too long without a fan. My current device is fully dead and unusable because i didn't cool it correctly.

Buy it from BitMinerJoe Best price I found, shipping was fast and no I am not getting paid for this.
Do not hope for clear directions they were very small and looked like someone made a copy of a copy 100Xs.Online directions were very clear!I would be considered a Noob in this field.right out of the box and following online directions this thing has been working non stop for 30 days!then it stopped because place it receives work from went down for service.I pointed to alternative Server and back up to work it went.Yes I would get a fan if temps near the device can not be kept at 70-75F .This little bugger gets HOT!I haven't tried to change any of the settings because at this price and it running constantly 14-19gh.Cons 1 bad packaged directions.2 You should have a fan.Pros everything else.

Not reliable when used in USB powered hubs.
Un-reliable product, constant hardware failures errors registered and at times total failure of USB stick resulting the software showing the stick is in a OFF status. After using a voltage meter to adjust the internal voltage to be exactly as the manufacturer recommends, even at the baseline frequency one of the 9 sticks registers about 15 errors a minute.Purchased several different USB powered hubs thinking that this would resolve the problem, and verified each of these hubs is working properly by checking voltage and power readings. Powered hubs are working fine, the internal voltage of the usb sticks is the problem. The sticks internal voltage is erratic which for some sticks causes massive hardware errors, or outright failure.Unable to use any of these even in a class room setting to explain crypto currency to students.

Seem to only get 10Ghs but that could be because ...
Seem to only get 10Ghs but that could be because of my USB's power supply. Reading about this USB ASIC, if you supply more power, you can get higher hash rates. I have a 7 port USB 3.0 hub with one "charging port" but this one port only gives higher hash rates after playing around with plugging and unplugging multiple times, restarting the batch file, and sometimes disconnecting everything and restarting power. The USB hub is the "ANKER with built in charging port".FYI - After receiving the product, it does say in the instructions you should use USB 2.0 and NOT USB 3.0. Not sure if that is why I'm only getting 10Ghs but keep that in mind as I have 2 of these ASICs and bought a USB 3.0 hub to connect them to my laptop's USB 3.0 port. Both get about 10Ghs unless I spend time playing around with single charging port on the Hub. When I do get the chagrining port to activate, I get about 20Ghs off the ASIC plugged into that port.
