These are very comfortable and look good on. The strap, though it appears to be a buckle, is actually a snap, which is an odd choice. The buckle can be adjusted for length, but the presence of the snap creates a joint that causes the strap to angle weirdly at times.

This is a very comfortable and elegant shoe. The strap hits just right and makes the ankle slender, and because it covers the base of the toes and a little down the foot, it makes the foot look slender and elegant unlike many pump style shoes. The slight point also helps. I saw someone else wearing this shoe and asked where they got it, and then someone asked me the same thing yesterday so they are clearly eyecatching.The main problem is the price (although they are good quality and elegant) but shop on other online sites and you can find deals. The Paul Green brand has other nice flats.
