Once it cools down to a certain temperature while puffing the smoke, it shuts itself off until it is reheated enough to successfully make smoke again. **Q: Is this an outdoor fog machine?** A: I Have Used it for both, works completely fine , just depending on what look your going for. **Q: Is this okay to leave outside in the rain?** A: There is electronics inside running on 110 volts household current, and slots in the metal to let heat out. Used for Halloween ### ⭐ Absolutely worthless *by B***3 on October 31, 2021* They say you get what you pay for but if that was the case I would get something that actually worked. Unit got hot and you can tell it turned on but the led lights on front wouldn't work and never did pro fog. I held the remote button more than long enough. Waited more than 20 minutes for it to get hot. I have 3 smoke machines and this one is the best. (The other two actually cost more than this one as well).This machine produces a lot of smoke for decent amount of time and has a really quick reset time as well. It's much faster than my other two machines. The lights are a great addition aswell but I wish there was an option to just use the smoke without lights. The remote works perfectly and has a pretty good operating range as well. It does t eat up a ton of juice/liquid either. I ran it all night for Halloween and still have a lot of juice left.All in all for the price this machine is great and works better than some of the more expensive ones.
