Great movie was worth the four dollars

I bought it thinking it was just the 1960’s version and saw that it has added stories to it. Super nostalgic and one of my favorite Christmas movies!

The original is also a very great choice and you can never go wrong.

A fun Christmas tradition for our family! We have watched this every year. In fact I watched it the first time it was broadcast on TV back in the 1960’s. I didn’t realize how vivid and bright this cartoon was until I watched it in color—and that wasn’t until the mid 1970’s. The story is timeless and my son has been able to enjoy this edition in high resolution.We like this version because of the extras that are included. There’s commentary by the actress who voiced Cindy Lou Who, interviews with the songwriter and composer, and a special that I hadn’t seen in years that was on TNT: a feature narrated by the late SNL alumni Phil Hartman on the history of this animated classic. If that wasn’t enough, there’s two additional Grinch cartoons included: “Halloween is Grinch Night” and “The Grinch Grinches the Cat in the Hat.”

Nothing beats the original version

This brings back a lot of memories. The first cartoon is so classic. The only thing that I'm noticing is that I swear these exact order of cartoons were available on VHS. And I think my parents copied it so I could have it or home.

This is a good classic holiday movie that’s enjoyable and comforting to watch during the season. It has a familiar, feel-good story that makes it easy to relax and get into the holiday mood. The pacing is simple and the tone is cozy, which makes it great for family viewing or background holiday watching. Overall, it’s a solid seasonal movie that brings a lot of festive charm.

Been watching it for 45 years I love the show

この世界観、大好きです♪家のデッキで普通に見れますよ～。吹き替えや字幕は、日本語はなく英語ですが、全て英語でも問題なしです！

英語教師をしています。１０年ほど前に、アメリカからのALTがこのアニメについて教えてくれました。英語がわからなくても、クリスマスのイメージが伝わります。その当時は、このALTが持っていたアメリカのテレビ放送のビデオを使用しましたが、画像も音もあまりよくありませんでした。実写版のグリンチもおもしろいですが、やはりオリジナルのこのアニメの方が素朴で好きです。昨年、クリスマス直前に注文しようとしたら、到着が遅くなりすぎて、授業に間に合わなくなってしまうため、断念しました。（昨年は、ルドルフ〜赤鼻のトナカイ〜を使いました。こちらも好評でした）今回は、今年のクリスマスシーズンの授業のために早めに購入しました。現在は支援学校に勤めていますので、知的障害のある中・高生にこのビデオを見せようと思っています。家に遊びに来た小学生（２年生）や幼稚園年長さんも、英語でしたが楽しくみていましたよ。

The Grinch that stole Christmas is as much a part of essential Christmas viewing as Rudolph or Frosty.From Max to Cindy Lou Who, we can not help but love all that is this story. When the Grinch tries to steal Christmas away from the fine people of Whoville, he learns that the lights and the presents and the food, are not what makes Christmas special, it is more about what comes from inside us all, towards each other, that makes Christmas a truly special time.This is a important lesson for our kids to learn and for us adults to be reminded of.Every year, it is the same thing for me, I start searching for what night and which channels,THAT is all over now, since I have bought this disc.How can you say "no" to owning this? There is nothing negative to say about this film and it has no age range. Simply fun and amazin. There are lessons to be learned for the young ones and a ton of nostalgia for the "older of us".
