Like those sticky rollers for clothes, the pad immediately stuck to all the dust and thus the stickiness was neutralized.I didn't realize it would not accept my large 64GB SD card but luckily I had a 32GB card that was fine. the interface is TERRIBLE at letting you know this. Seating the SD card is easy. Removing it is a pain. I used my key edge with prompt shot the SC Card half way across the room. Impressive not I was unamused.Overall, the menu system is complicated and unwieldy but once you get it set, leave it and you are find. I was hoping i could get the motion sensor to work when the car is off and people pass the camera. Can't figure that one out. Maybe it is a feature, maybe not but I couldn't figure it out. I'm a tech guy too.Lots of buttons and it takes some studying and memorization skillz to remember what they all do. I haven't. I press the left middle button hoping that is the one that saves the current video.Overall, it works fine. I have not used the camera extension so i don't know what is happening behind me. I guess what's behind me doesn't matter. ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars Front & Rear Camera Dash Cam great selling point but not worth it *by T***. on Reviewed in the United States on August 12, 2019* Bought this dash cam to replace another brand that had failed, the selling feature was that it had a rear camera also. I found this feature valuable since there were many times aggressive drivers would tailgate me and would like proof.The rear camera only has 720P video and the resolution isn't very clear for me to agree it's 720P. The rear camera is a small round cylinder that is held by a L Bracket, only problem is there is no markings on the camera which way up is so it's nearly impossible to align where view is straight or in plane.Now for the front camera, it has very good resolution, they say 2196P. The viewing angle or how wide of an area you can see is only advertised at 140 degrees (last cam had 150) but it only appears to be about 110. You can see what's directly in front of you but forget what might be approaching from the side. It comes with a mount that is made to sit on a rubber pad on your dash, the rubber pad causes video to shake constantly. See attached picture. Needs a solid way to mount. Previous camera mounted to rear view mirror and never had shaking issues. This camera's design makes you mount it to the dash. The display on it is almost useless, it's small and with it sitting on the dash I can't see it to even change setup menu with removing it from dash to hold close enough to see little screen. I don't recommend this model. ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars not impressed *by S***S on Reviewed in the United States on April 24, 2019* Night time video has a LOT of light effects and is blurry . Yes I took the little film off the lense.Menu was hard to get to work.. had to push it multiple times once it popped up it worked fine. The directions says push the "M" on the left side yet the "M" is on the right side of the unit and at the end I get never get to work again.It has loop recording 3-5-10 minutes horrible... Your only other options is SD card full. So if I want see something that happened 5 minutes into my drive my 40 minute drive I will lose that information or leave it on until full .. It gets full you forget and then it is not recording.To me and I would say just about anyone else, loop recording means it starts over once you card is full anywhere from 8 to 18 hours depending on quality of settingsThe screen stays on the whole time it is on.
