They were a little tricky to install but well worth the time. Be sure to read and/or watch the short video for installation. Cleaning the area where they’re installed is extremely important. I did install mine when the temperature was only around 50° but I used a heat gun to warm the adhesive strips before removing a couple of inches of the tape at each end. Once in place I oiled both ends at the Al same time and had great success. Once I installed them and was putting the window back up the window would automatically go back down. If that happens press on the window a little until it goes up and stays up. Once they were all installed I didn’t lower the windows for a bout a week because I wanted to make sure the adhesive accomplished what it’s expected to do. Everything works perfectly now. Windows glide up and down and there’s no noise or movement of the window visors. These type are light years better than the ones that attach to the outside of the doors.

I liked the look of these vent shades and read the reviews, so I made the purchase for my 2019 Tacoma 4 door. They arrived in the expected timeframe and I was excited to install them. They came well protected, although the shrink wrap that attached them to the cardboard was a little tricky to remove. I read the instructions, did the pre-install cleaning and went to work. Installation on the first 3 went quickly and smoothly, and they looked good on the truck. It was on the last window, the passenger side front window, that I had a problem. The shade was too long. No matter what I tried, the thing was just the wrong size.I contacted their customer service via email, described the issue and after verifying my purchase and sending a couple of pics showing the problem, I was contacted after about a week that they were sending a new set to me. Apparently, the wrong shade was packaged at the factory was what they told me. CS also sent an email showing the warranty issue and an expected ship date.Four days later FedEx delivered the new set. Needless to say I was a little anxious to try the new shade out. Having 3 windows looking good, I didn't want to go through the return hassle for 1 shade. Long story short, it fit perfectly!The customer service department took this review from a 1 star to a 5 star. They were pretty prompt in responding and once they decided my issue was real, they acted with integrity and replaced the shade with no hassle or denying it was their error. Vent shades are pretty common and several options are available. Honestly, the way the company handled my issue convinced me this was the company to go with if I decide to purchase any more of their products. Service after the sale makes a difference to me, and this company won my business.

I've had these on my 2019 Toyota Tacoma for a few months now and I think they're a solid product. Follow the instructions provided and they hold on nice and solid. I've run the truck through the car wash multiple times and no problems whatsoever. Even the white print on the front guards is holding up well.

Installation was incredibly easy (YouTube videos help) so that was cool. They fit perfectly as well.The packaging by the manufacturer is MUCH to be desired. Minor scuffs and scratches because they’re essentially taped to the cardboard as opposed to a tighter, almost clamshell fit.Only concern is passenger front window won’t roll up on its own, sensing a blockage. Dunno if it’s the channel on the truck or the thickness of the product. We’ll see.

Arrived promptly and was easy to install, however a good surface preparation will make that difference on its performance. Waited a while before writing the review as I needed to drive the vehicle and expose the product on rain and sun. So far, very satisfied. I is what expected.

I've installed ventshades before and used AVS shades in the past as well, but this was a disaster.From opening the packing this was a terrible experience. The ventshades come shrink wrapped to a big piece of cardboard. Not sure if this package was just old or overheated when it was packaged, but it was a struggle to separate the outer plastic from the actual ventshades. They were stuck together. As I tried peeling the plastic away it was stuck to the adhesive backing that was on the ventshades which meant as I was opening the packing it was peeling away the protectant off the adhesive backing to expose the sticky part. There was no way to open this without ruining the adhesive protectant.Since the sticky sides were now exposed I had to work quickly so they didn't dry out. After following the cleaning instructions, I placed the ventshade in the front passenger channel. I held it in place as I rolled up the window.. CRACK. The shade immediately cracked. on the front end. Assuming it wasn't a "perfect fit", the shade stayed in place and I continued on the driver side. That adhesive backing was also already exposed from de-boxing as well.. As I tried to slide this shade into the channel it just wouldn't fit. No matter which way you configured it, the shade was too long by INCHES. There was no room to work with. The shade was jammed all the way forward, yet it was still sticking past my window channel. I didn't even attempt to do the rear windows. It just wasn't worth it.Amazon and AVS say this fits a 2021 Tacoma double cab, but it definitely does not. Will be returning immediately.

Fit perfectly on Tacoma 2017 double cab 6ft bed. instruction clear and precise, installation with included scrubber and alcohol pads (4) is easy and fast. push inward as installing and removed tape as instructed than push outward and close windows as instructed. works like a charm.will review further in a few months but so far ....excellent.PS. hard to clean with big finger in glass chanel... use a non-sharp stick and wrap around scrubber and alcohol pad to clean in channel.Follow up: Its been 8 months and almost thru the Canadian Winter (went to -34 C) ice scrapped and banged off it a few time and still going strong. Definitely recommend.-- 2nd Follow up review After 2 years and 2 Canadian winter > -40 C or F and still going great.... Price went up a bit but still strongly recommend. PS clean glass channel if scratchy sound going up and down after dirt shower.

Very satisfied. They were incredibly easy to install, and do it properly. They look great, and perform the function they are suppose to. I read previous reviews about the packaging being poor and receiving scratched product - I don't know if the packaging had changed now, but it was well done - no scratches on the visors. The only problem is when they heat sealed it some of the packaging plastic stuck on the back of the 3M tape and started peeling it off and exposing the adhesive but if you take care opening it you should be ok. Haven't had any issues with them not sticking or windows not rolling up. Will update review if anything changes.

I put these on my 2020 Toyota Tacoma. Easy to install and they look good. My only issue was the finish. Two were fine but the other two looked like they had been pressed out of a mold and forgotten. I took some fine grit sandpaper and went over the really rough spots. They came out looking fine but it just took me 10-15 minutes of sanding the edge to make it that way. Thankfully, it was just the edges that needed attention and not the clear sides.
