Works just as it is supposed to. I needed a longer cable on a fan that I added to my desktop computer. This does the trick!

Do you need a little more length to get your fans working? These cables will do the trick. They worked great for me since the fans and the MoBo ports were just a little too far away from each other. They are not from Amazon, but they still shipped free and were cheap, so I would recommend them again.The only con I would have is that they are not bundled, but since they are not advertised that way, you know what you are getting.

Saves time when needing to open the side panel of a tower. For those who don't have the best closeup eyesite (for finding the motherboard fan socket), this is terrific. Well worth the price!

Rear fan connector was too short to reach the pins on my micro ATX motherboard, but this extension cable closed that gap. No hassle in getting it to work, just plugged it in and now my rear fan works. Really satisfied with my purchase.

Works fine, but would have been better with sleeving.

I purchased a new H.265 IP DVR. There was no fan at all, and since the DVR is in a closet I needed to add a fan. The DVR circuit board had a 3 pin fan connecter, however no fan was installed in the cabinet. The only fan I could find had short wires, so this was needed to extend those wires. Perfect for my requirements. A fan installed lowered the HDD temperature to 25C.(77F) Without the HDD temp would rise to 40C (104F) HDD's and electronics last longer when cooler.

So I plugged this guy in but the connections in the cable itself were loose. So unless I held it in a certain position, it wouldn't work. As soon as I let go, no power.
