Authentic Cold Brew Colombian Black Pods, Colombian, 12 Count,1.35 fl oz

In warmer weather you may enjoy using these to make an iced latte. I start doing that early in the morning on days that are hot already! I put ice in a 20-ounce insulated mug and add in enough almond milk to cover the ice. Then I pour in two of these cold brew capsules and three packets of stevia. Then stir until it is all combined. This is delicious as an iced beverage but I've also tried two capsules in hot water for coffee. I did have to microwave the coffee a few seconds to get it to drinking temperature because the pods are cold. With a little lactose free half-and-half and stevia this makes a nice strong coffee drink. I'd say I worked for 14 hours yesterday on one cup of coffee. I think the caffeine content is higher than regular ground coffee that you brew yourself. So it can be like a bit of an energy drink! Anyways I got a whole closet organized because I had the motivation and energy. These are a good value for money because it costs way less to make a coffee than if you bought one at a coffee shop! Around $2 compared to $6! I found the capsules did not leak and I'm trying a variety of them. The cardboard container also is great to keep up in your kitchen cupboard. It opens in a way that you can leave all the capsules in the box while having total access to getting them out! So far the decaf is the most flavorful and these are a close second. If you like the convenience of making iced lattes without having to brew coffee, you will love these! ~The Rebecca Review

Brand name notwithstanding, concentrated iced coffee pour-ins should be individually evaluated. Java House Columbian stands separately above for its subtlely delicious flavor. It almost demands loyalty.

I've been looking for a replacement for the Starbucks cold brew concentrate pods that have been discontinued, and these are pretty much spot on for the liquid consistency and taste. I drink these only diluted with milk so its like a cold brew latte, so the taste of the coffee stays pretty strong.

Taste is great, but I sense a modicum of sweetness (sugar?). Also, the recipe says each container makes an 8-oz cup, but if you follow the directions which call for adding ice first, then 8-oz of water, and finally the contents of the little cup of cold brew--it all adds up to more than an 8-oz cup will hold. That is inconvenient and messy.

I'm always skeptical with things like this. I'm buying 12 shots of coffee. For 24 bucks. But because I don't drink coffee everyday, this kind of makes sense. In fact, it makes sense for anybody because you're going to pay more than $2 per shot when you go to Starbucks. So if you make your own coffee at home, this might be a really great and more affordable alternative to Starbucks. The taste is smooth and it's pre-portioned. There are down points of course because now you were creating more garbage. But we live in a world of convenience. So bring it on.

Product is good but for 2 bucks a serving they need to come down in price. Caffe di Artisan has 24 pods for half the price as this and is very good.

This stuff is delicious! I was a little skeptical when I first ordered since it’s a concentrate and not a full drink. But after drinking several of those and fine tuning how much I’ve and water I mix in, I couldn’t be happier I will order again and probably send some boxes as gifts!

I tried the pods hot and cold. Excellent flavor considering the convenience. The only reason I even heard of Java House is due the company’s involvement in Indy Car. Great product!
