A bunch of other reviews said that the diffuser basket is too little to put much fruit in and that is correct. That's why I just put the fruit directly into the cup and put only the top piece of the diffuser basket on the top to act as a filter. It works perfectly. I really wanted a glass container, not plastic, and the sleeve that comes with it is great. I haven't used the diffuser basket as it was intended as I feel that is more for tea and I am really just using this to make my water flavored with fruit. So far I am really happy with my purchase and placing the top piece of the diffuser basket at the top of the glass works great to filter out any floaties from my fruit.

I was very excited to open my new water bottle. I've seen some around but wasn't too excited about their design. I was excited to try this one for several reasons.1. Glass bottle-When I choose to drink at home I always pick a glass instead of a plastic cup. My sister and I discussed this years ago. For some reason water just tastes better when it is in glass. Now I've learned that plastic can leach into the water, so that might explain what I sensed so many years ago.2. I was excited to start making some 'sun tea' while on the go. I make it using herbs that have healing properties. In the past I used a big glass gallon-sized bottle with the little push button at the bottom. I liked this because the herbs would float and I wouldn't get any in my tea when I used the bottom spigot. This water bottle looked like it would give me a similar outcome because the infuser has very small holes in it that would keep 'floaters' out of the water.But a gallon sized jar is not very practical when you're on the go. Now I have a mini version.When I opened it I was impressed with the quality packing material. The box itself is really solid. That's not super important but if a company pays attention to the quality of a box and don't go cheap then that probably follows through in their product.I liked the sleeve on the water bottle. It is easy to remove but also stays on nicely. I've had a few bottles that have the plastic/rubbery glued on designs that help keep them from breaking if they fall. But over time they get gummy and you can't do anything about it. I like that I can clean the sleeve separately only when needed. I think this will last longer.I think the bottle seems cleaner because of this.I REALLY like the infuser in this bottle. It's really solid and won't get destroyed easily. I love how you can remove it. I'm having a fun time finding different ways to use it. I first decided to try it with some freeze dried fruit. This was fun. The flavor was immediately infused into the water as the fruit rehydrated. Then later in the day I could eat the hydrated fruit out of the infuser.Today I decided to use it in a cup the way I use my tea ball infuser. It has a flat bottom so it sits right down in the mug nicely. It has a nice handle so I can easily get it out. Then I am able to open the top of the infuser and using a spoon, squeeze out the best of the herb 'juice' into my cup. The infuser is tough so it can easily handle the pushing of the spoon. So I feel like I got a bonus free gift of a tea infuser!I like the wood top/lid. It gives it a classy look.What I would like to see in a future upgrade is to have the infuser be able to have the option of going down to the bottom of the water bottle. When I drank it down a bit, then the fruit wasn't down in the water any more. I would shake it to infuse more. Each time I take a drink the water passes the fruit again so it still was flavored, so not a big problem. I would give it 5 stars if it had this option.

Oh man I've had this thing for 3.5 months and I've loved it. I've encouraged anyone who's asked me about it to go and buy one. The mesh is very very fine and handles loose leaf teas easy peasy. Or I could use it just for cold water. It works perfectly whether the drink was hot or cold. The sleeve does a good job of holding onto the drink container without being bulky. They both fit nicely in cup holders whether in the car or on the treadmill or anywhere else -- I'd never have much reason to separate them, unless I were cleaning the sleeve or the bottle.BUT TODAY I DROPPED IT. I was holding too many things and out of all of the non-glass things I had in my hands of COURSE I dropped this entire container, sleeve and all, and it landed butt-first on the kitchen tile. It smashed because duh and gravity, but even in its last moments it gave me the convenience of having all the glass shards contained within the sleeve. I just had to wipe up all my tea. Dx:'( sigh, I'll miss ya lil buddy. Thanks for keeping my hands warm but not too hot with your sleeve when the office or car was was cold and I waited for my tea to steep. </3 I'm super bummed. And also clumsy, apparently. Ugh.

I purchased this bottle for everyday use for my morning iced latte. I have used it 5-6 times a week for more than 3 months and have really liked it. It is easy to clean, keeps my drinks cold and use it every time with the neoprene sleeve encasing the bottle for protection/carrying purposes. This morning, while walking down the street to my train, it merely slipped off of my finger as I stood at the corner waiting for the light to change. After never being dropped before, the bottle (filled with 160z of coffee) hit the ground and shattered. Thank God it was in the sleeve for ease of clean-up and throwing out in a nearby trashcan.Would I recommend this bottle? Yes, for sure. As I mentioned before, it is easy to clean, and kept my iced latte cold for a few hours each day. Can it break? Also yes. It's glass, so be forewarned. The neoprene sleeve is thin, just once drop, from maybe two feet, caused it to shatter, rendering it useless.Would give it 4-5 stars had it survived this small accidental drop. I would also purchase another one from this same company if they made a smaller version too.

Despite some of the negative reviews, this bottle is great, and extremely fast delivery, i might add. I purchased this bottle mainly for infusing fruit in water and while others are correct in saying that then diffuser basket was small it’s not too small for all purposes. I use mine for fruit like blueberries of which I like I to chrush\squeeze slightly before putting it in the water, this allows the water from becoming cloudy and full of blueberry insides. I also use the diffuser basket for herbs like mint, basil and lavender. The diffuser basket is easy to detach and the top portion of the diffuser basket is an excellent filter for any fruit bits both with the diffuser basket attached as well as on its own. The sleeve that comes with this bottle is nice and will help with mild bumps and stuff however I am not counting on it saving any falls/drops because this bottle is heavy and very much glass, it’s gonna break if you drop it. So far I am really pleased with this purchase and would happily recommend it to others.

Not double-walled so you definitely need the neoprene cover or you’ll burn your hands.

This is a well-made and attractive design. It is great for cold beverages, or for hot tea if you're going to drink it right away, however, it doesn't keep tea hot for long. (I am sure it must be the same for all glass team infusers, but I was disappointed with that one aspect.)UPDATE: After a few months of use, I was washing the glass water bottle in the sink and the bottom dropped out of it and now it is useless! I never mistreated it or dropped it. I was very disappointed.
