I purchased this plate over less expensive stainless ones because in the picture, it appeared to be a coated black stainless and made in USA. (Note: The description did not say it was blk) The picture is wrong as it is standard 304 stainless in all its silver glory! I ended up painting it matte black. As far as quality, it is very nicely cut and not flimsy at all. Just disappointed about the picture the company is using -it is very misleading. As far as the product itself, I would recommend it-if you are looking for silver 304 stainless steel. It fits a Virginia Inspection sticker. For placement on an 2018 Indian Dark Horse, you'll have to drill the plate hole out slightly to have the bolt fit through.

I just bought a brand spanking new 2021 Yamaha XSR900 with 0 miles on it so I didn't want an ugly huge Virginia safety inspection sticker stuck on the forks so I got this on amazon.The plate had to be on the bigger side because for some reason, VA still has a big inspection sticker for bikes even though they recently made car inspection stickers way smaller - makes no sense to me...This 304 S/S plate worked perfect and I bolted it onto the left side of the swingarm fender. thanks again!

Very please with the quality of this inspection tag plate. I live in Virginia and this was the perfect size for the inspection sticker. Bolted easily to front brake caliper fork bolt.

I ordered a black one but a silver one was delivered. The product is ok but the seller messed up the order.

Listing clearly shows a black plate. What arrived is unfinished stainless! Product is robust, nicely finished, but not as pictured.
