I do a lot of genealogy research and these folder-files work very well for what I do with that research. I have my notes of who, what, when, and where on the outside. On the back side, I can add more history notes to help me remember what I did or need to follow up on. Since I work with a great many of my family names/ancestry, I use them extensively. I have this on auto shipment every 6 months. Now, I also share them with my husband so he can start filing his more important papers, etc. These more important folders then go into our water-fire-insect-proof emergency grab bag. Great buy.

These folders are really great to keep your projects organized. I love that you can record important info on the front and back and then stuff all the paperwork inside safely. Real time savers and great for finding things in my filing cabinet.

The folders are great because of the amount of information you can place on them however they are so thin that they can tear easily. I need them for the expansion but need a stronger version.
