Way. Too. Loud.
My son has a version of this that works really well so we bought this one for our daughter. I do like that the lighting can double as a night light and the color changing is really pretty. However, my sons alarm is a nice little bell chime that gets louder over time. My daughters scared us all awake the first day with a high pitched beep so loud it could be heard through the whole house. There is no volume control. Unless I can find some way to muffle it, we will not be using it anymore.

Doesn't work well as a clock
Bought this because I have an older clock made by the same company. Returned this one because the numbers are not back-lit and are very hard to read.

Bought this for my granddaughter. She loves it and loves the changing colors, but she likes the pink the best. It is enough of a night-light for her as well. She is 9 years old and finds it easy to set the alarm and time by herself.

great for kids nightlight
We bought one of these for our youngest's room as he didn't like complete darkness. For that purpose it work GREAT. We did stop the light changing and put it on dim, and are looking to pick up a second one for our older girls room, just for a good nightlight that doesn't do batteries or shut off after a while.

This is the low-end model of a low-end line designed by idiots. The purpose of an alarm clock is ostensibly to wake the user, NOT to conform to some arbitrary calculation of how long (1 min., in this case) to allow the user to awaken after a few hours' sleep and hit the snooze button, which is the ONLY way to make the clock ring again until 24 hours have elapsed!
