Better Than Expected.................
Although I am quite pleased with the vest, I give this item only 4 start out of 5. Although to my surprise and joy, the vest does actually fit large men as advertised (I am 5-11 270 lbs and portly in body shape) unlike the cheap Chinese imitations that all seem to be sized for dwarfs. The vertical adjustment (pulling the front of the vest higher on the shoulders) is lacking. The cross draw holster is positioned OK, but the clasp is difficult and clumsy to use. One would probably want to go around unsnapped rather than run the risk of trying to withdraw ones weapon quickly. The rifle magazine pouches are a bit small (although one can force a 20 or 30 AR magazine in) The pistol magazine pouches are a bit small for anything other than a 1911 style magazine. You Glock 10 guys are screwed. No good attachment for a knife and the vest pocket pouch is a bit small for a tactical flashlight. The belt is actually about 54" as they advertise. I have a 48 waist and have plenty of belt to spare. On balance, I give this vest high marks. We poor "full figured men" have quite a difficult search for garments these days. My hat is off to Fox. American made...best of all.

Great product, horrible after purchase customer service.
I am 6'6" tall and 425lbs. This vest was what I was hoping I would use to eliminate my back pain from hiking with my backpack.I found the item to be high quality, just not large enough to go around my middle.These are all my personal issues and I'm being up front here. Fox's item is great for the average big and tall man. The following is where I had to take away two stars.First, I was very excited for this vest. I contacted Fox about this vest before ordering and gave them my measurements. The person I addressed via email stated their product should fit. This was not the case. Through the shoulders felt great, comfortable, and I could tell that if I loaded some items there the weight would be distributed. Additionally, one could attach whatever they please to the vest to their liking! It truly is a great product!I did not give up there as the vest was amazing. I then contacted them and asked if they were able to do a custom order for me or if they could suggest a contact for me to get some custom modifications done to get an extender for the middle section.I received no contact from the company after this and despite waiting and attempting again to contact them, still no response.I had to return such a well made item.I am still losing the weight, but when I get down to the desired goal, I cannot go with a company that doesn't care for those that need additional assistance and will not communicate what so ever with a customer after the purchase has been made.

Quality + price + value = Good product
whenever I purchase a product I have to be fair If the product performs and reflects to the price I paid then I'm a happy customer in this case this product is definitely a real value. I have two other vest like this one but not exactly there sizes are not true I will not mention any names at this time I think most who read this already know , I'm 6ft 240 pounds I take a 36,30 pant leg so when I purchased other vest and they were suppose to fit but did not fit comfortable, this vest out of the box fit with no problem I even had to take both sides in almost all the way. I hope this review helps someone out there I know I love reviews that honestly help me .my final word ' we almost always get what we pay for , good quality, good zipper ,good pockets they fit most of my magazines again what can we really expect for the money that's why I give it 5 stars.

The name says it all big and tall.
I was skeptical about it being big enough for me as most things are not my size. I am 6' 4" 380 lbs. 54" waist. and larger belly lol. I let all the adjustments out including belt to full size and it fit just fine with zipping up fully. It will not fit me over a coat but I can put my coat on over it if need be. I did remove the belt metal clips to get the belt fully out very east to remove. and it buckled up just fine I don't see a need for them but I saved them just the same. So I am very pleased with this vest plenty of pockets to carry everything I would need.
