Dustpan is paper thin - broke

I have one of these and after many years the brush was getting quite ratty. So I ordered a new set. (Wish the brush was available separately.) The new brrush is fine but the new dustpan is paper thin. The old dustpan was not HD, but fine for light duty - much thicker than the new one. The dustpan broke during shipment. I tossed it in the trash - not worth the effort and cost of return shipment.
