Very happy with these! Sturdy needles, that felt very well. I'm very surprised as I had broken 2 craft store needles back to back out nowhere. Bought these and after quite alot of felting I haven't broken any! Even the thin ones. Having 3 sizes is also a game changer. My felting projects are more easier and more detailed now. Though I likely could have done it before, it's waaay easier with these. They did come with a little bit of an oily film on them, but I just took a couple alcohol pads and wiped them down, easily took of the film. It can also be hard to tell which is which so I color coded with nail polish.

This is a great deal for felters especially when you're working on a project and you don't want to run out and buy needles when one breaks (and we've all had those days where it seems every single one breaks). The only thing that's a drawback is that although there are three sizes, they aren't labeled but there are different lengths (something that drives me nuts because they're never consistent; I'd rather they used gauge instead of length to I.D. needles.) These all seem to be typical gauges -- 36, 38, 40.

This was my first attempt at making a felt figure. When I ordered the special felt needle to replace the regular needle that I attempted to use to make the figure, it was a major difference and I was able to complete my project. My only dispute with this tool is that the needle fits awkwardly in the handle and the needles can break pretty easily so it's good to buy a lot if you plan to do more felting.

One distracted poke and a needle can break! I’ll try to be more careful with these! 😂😂 I make small cat toys from their hair, my hair, and dryer lint. The toys are better when more solid. Over the last year I get distracted by our cats and end up breaking a needle. Always looking for quality replacements, these do the work well!

The price is very good. The needles are not brittle (but as with all needlefelting needles will break if not used correctly)The tall one is equivalent to 36g the small one is possibly a 40 g.... I colour code the ends of mine with nail varnish.They're a good price especially for a beginner ..my personal choice are Heidifeathers also on Amazon but these are useful .I don't use the handle but it works fine .I just prefer to hold the needles. Best for carded wool

Worked well and arrived promptly and I like that you are able to cover the sharp needle when not in use. Not too sure how I would go about changing the needle when required but will figure that out.
