Kindle edition AWFUL. Book itself has some good stuff
Review for the Kindle edition. The majority of the footnotes and table of contents link NOT to their correct place. For example: Chapter 34 takes you to 35(verified the error three times). All of the footnote links takes you to stange places, often to the first few pages of the book, or just erroneous random other footnotes that don't correlate with the chapter viewed. All in all: bug ridden and error filled. The content itself is useful, though I could do more with the author referencing doctrine and quotes to support his posits, rather than "it is clear Isaiah meant [insert here]...."Let the text speak for itself, and then qualify that the commentary supports this or that theory within doctrinal speculation (and clarify when it. IS specification, otherwise quote a prophetic source). If you have a posit you believe was the original intent, clarify that it's your posit, not Isaiah's, as this text conflates them. We are not Pharisees here doing Torah commentaries, we can do better. What I loved: the restructuring of the text to fit as close (as is possible) to the original poetic styling within a translation framework. Part of the reason Isaiah is so difficult to read is that it functions very VERY poorly in a chapter and verse format. Restyling the poetry and giving context and history makes it not only understandable but fascinating.Only the opinion driven commentary bogs down the book. The text itself deserves 3.5+ stars for the great restructure of Isaiah and the history. The Kindle edition gets 1 star for being unreadable and incredibly frustrating.I decided to be nice and give it 2 stars overall.Do yourself a favor, get the hard copy to study from, as there's some great stuff here. I had to refund my purchase it was so badly done on Kindle edition unfortunately.Hopefully (but doubtfully) they fix the kindle edition of the book. I'd repurchase it once the glaring readability errors are resolved.

This helps clarify and promotes understanding.
Isaiah has always been a challenge for me to understand. This book helps so much. Each chapter is present separately with clear information, easy to read, and has brought me to love Isaiah. JR

book
The book was in immaculate condition as advertised and I have not been able to put it down. In my religion I was instructed to read and study Isaiah by the Savior, himself, in 3rd Neiphi and this book has opened up the whole Book of Isaiah and delivered his message in an understandable way that relates to what the message was that he, Isaiah, received from the Lord.

Very helpful.
Without historical and cultural context Isaiah can be confusing. But then again, so can understanding reality old commentaries. This was a good bridge/tool in understanding old commentaries as well as Isaiah. I wouldn’t rely on it solely, though.

Helpful, but not Great
I have enjoyed re-reading Isaiah with the help of this book. It provides good insight and help in understanding some of the difficult passages of Isaiah's writing and combines the Book of Mormon quotes of Isaiah's writing and the changes from Joseph Smith's Translation of the Bible to aid in understanding.
