Mind blowing!!
At first I didn't realize the premise of the book.. Untill I read the description on the back.. I was hooked after that.. It has an inception like storyline; which is humorous & ineresting. The illustrations are amazing with great attention to detail such as the name of chapters on top. I especially love the first and last pages, the way the stories have been inculcated in them. Axel Scheffler is definitely my favorite for illustrations among all Julia Donaldson books. Of course the text is great too.. This is definitely one of her very best. My 2 yr old has 30+ books. And this book is her top favorite of all.

Nice but too expensive for the no of pages
Nice but too expensive for the no of pages. What is there is very good but it's too little .could have been 50 to 75 rs. cheaper.

Superb for pre-schoolers
My 4 year old kid loves this book. It has a great recall value, multiple plots, and the illustrations are great. Must recommend for pre-schoolers who generally are not fond of reading because this is a fun book to start with.

Story within a story.
I still think the Gruffalo and Snail on the Whale are best books from this author. This is still a fun book for kids. This one isn’t as much of a story as it is many stories within a story. So there is no main character that kids can latch onto.
