Good Stuff!
These seem to be the real deal - authentic Anderson connectors! I got some counterfeits elsewhere and the housings won't mate side to side. These do, and they have the roll pin. Use good crimpers like the K-wiss and a small screwdriver to carefully seat the pins, especially if using wire with softer silicone insulation. . I use the magnetic end of a little screwdriver to insert the roll pin. This is my favorite connector because my battery packs can be moved from charger to application without connector gender adapters.

Powerpole connectors
Power pole connectors are great, well-made, and easy to use. My only gripe is that there very cheap to make and the profit margin on them is way too much!

Perfect.
Anderson Power Poles are the standard for high quality electrical connections in the Amateur Radio circles for 6 very good reasons: they're sturdy, they're reliable, they handle the power requirements, they work, you won't accidentally reverse polarity when powering your expensive gear, and they last. Sure they're expensive, but they save so many headaches once you bite the bullet.

First Time, A Little Wastage
I just recently decided to get everything switched over to Powerpoles. This was my first foray into these things. Shockingly, it wasn't that bad. These are solid, quality products. Well constructed. They're very easy to use, after you get them installed. They're not that easy to install. I've mangled one connector. I also put one set in upside down (backwards, whatever). You really have to pay attention. With the 15 amp ones, I found I needed to use a screw driver to get them to click in. With the 30 amp ones (writing a review in a minute), they just clicked. However, it wasn't hard. I know there's a tool for this, but I didn't feel like I needed it. A small flat tip did the trick. Now I have these on all my connectors for my radios, batteries and power supplies.

The best connectors for your custom project
These are the best connectors for my HAM and Jeep electronic projects. Not only can I set up standard red/black power connectors, but you can link several of the same (or other color) connectors to make unique cables that only connect to each other. They are very easy to use, and provide a solid connection.

Finally a decent DC power connector
I rewired a portable sound system's 24 volt power system using these connectors, plus I use the 45 amp versions for my homemade battery backup. The world lacks a decent standard12 volt connector, the cigarette lighter versions are terrible, they don't stay in place, they overheat, and they can melt easily with an electric cooler. I think the Anderson Powerpole is a good candidate to be adopted for the automotive industry.

Power Poles are Tops!
I've bought a lot of stuff from Valley Enterprises and most of that being Power Poles. All have served me well. I converted all my 12 VDC powered ham radio gear to use power poles. It is so much more efficient now. My mobile rigs can now be swapped between house and car with ease. No more carrying around long wires, or long wires cluttering up my rack. A very good investment.
