Top-Requested Christmas Sheet Music: Easy Piano (Top-Requested Sheet Music)

I am very pleased with this purchase. It is such a nice variety of songs. “Easy” piano but they are composed with a flair that makes the songs sound a little more advanced. I was able to play the songs after a few tries. It will be fun to practice the songs to give them the polish I can be proud to play. Highly recommend. I will search for other collections by this composer, Don Coates.

I rarely write reviews on Amazon, but I had to for this. Dan Coates has created glorious arrangements in this easy piano book that make your playing sound more advanced than it is. The last few measures of each song are a true treat as he ends them in such a tasteful way. Many of the slower and more sentimental songs, like "I'll Be Home for Christmas," just end so beautifully that it amps up on the nostalgia of Christmas as a construct. If you're looking to play some Christmas songs for the fam, but you don't want to practice a whole lot between now and December while still sounding fantastic? This is your book. 10/10 would recommend.

I have numerous Christmas books and this was the best one. It has a good assortment and with my arthritic fingers it is a good difficulty level. Not too easy, but not so hard I have to relearn every song. I can easily play it without scrutinizing every measure. It leans more to popular songs than to religious carols, but has a good mix.

It’s almost easy enough for me since it’s been years since I could easily play. The only thing that was a negative was that some of the printing is bad like the ink was running out. It’s readable tho and I can darken it so I can read it better. I would say that 5 or 6 songs are like this. I don’t want to return it however since its hardly worth returning a $14 item. There are tons of songs and I can’t wait to be able to play them. My fingers are old and stiff. Maybe by next Christmas I’ll be better.

The arrangements are probably for Grade 2 piano level. Quite useful for developing sight-reading for beginners with fingering guide - which is what I need as an intermediate player. There was a bit of damage on the front but I don’t really mind. This was probably a courier handling issue.

After a previous disappointing book purchase I’m so happy I gave this one a shot. This was exactly what I was hoping for. All the expected hits transposed very well. I am really happy with this books quality and they feel fun to play.

I like that the songs aren't real hard to just pick up and play and I'm almost 70 yrs old and have been playing piano since elementary days and I accompianrd students for solos to take to district and state and played for church for years so this I'm telling everyone is a great book with several Christmas songs in it. Its a fun book!

I bought this years ago and pulled it out this weekend for the Christmas holidays. It's the perfect level of difficulty for me (12 years of piano lessons 30 years ago -- ha!), not overly simple but manageable for a rusty intermediate player after a practice run or two. They're mostly set in the keys of C, F, or G, so minimal black notes to keep track of. It has good melody and harmony rather than just the melody. The songs are immediately recognizable and all have a couple bars of lead-in so all of your drunken revelers and kids know what song you're about to play. It's a very good collection of songs, but --fair warning -- no Mariah Carey or Wham! or Chipmunks. My only complaint is that the songs are set at too high a register for me, an alto, to sing along comfortably. But grab some sopranos and maybe baritones and you're set.

Lovely arrangements. I got my grade 8 way back in the day and having bought a piano for the kids, I am trying to get back into it. Relatively easy to play - my daughter who is grade 1 ish had a go at some of the easier ones - but nice sounding arrangements and you can embellish them if you like!

This is a great book. I ordered this for my kids because their music Piano Teacher suggested we purchase some Christmas sheet music of our choice. The Teacher and my kuds love it. There was another music book on here (Amazon) that was a suggestion and it was a scam. I paid a couple dollars less for the awful book...The pages didn't match and the notes were not accurate...But This Book by Cosmo music is Great. The Music Teacher said this was legit and worth it.

I am an Intermediate pianist. This book is, as it says, easy, but there is plenty of scope for embellishing as you play. I loved it- a great selection of Christmas tunes which I played at our Christmas party- and everyone joined in.Clear and with guitar chords and lyrics this is a versatile book. I am a great fan of Dan Coates’ arrangements- they give an authentic feel to all the songs. Don’t hesitate to buy this book!
