ProActive Sports EZ-Dri Rain Cover

I live in the Deep South, where golf can be played almost year round and rain is a frequent and sudden visitor. I'd been searching for a sturdy, clear and easy-to-use golf bag rain cover and protector for some time but hadn't found one that I met my requirements. I was skeptical about buying this one online, but the photos and product description, plus Amazon's great customer service and satisfaction gaurantee, persuaded me to give it a try.Luckily this was a good call! I've been using the cover for about a year and am very happy with it. It's easy to put on and remove (that's very important to women golfers like me); the heavy-gauge material doesn't tear and really does stay supple in chilly weather; protected side pockets let me get to my bag's compartments; and the sturdy twin zippers operate smoothly so clubs can be retrieved and put away fast. The cover cleans up nicely with mild soap and water or 409. BTW I also put the cover on my bag when it's in storage to keep it and my clubs clean and dry.IMO the cover works best when used as illustrated, with a push/pull golf cart. I don't recommend it for electric cart use as it is a bit longer than most bags are, so it could get inadvertantly worn or torn on the bottom.I hope my experience helps you with your decision. The clear plastic sticks together and makes it a bit of a chore to separate the layers and place onto my bag. When it's raining, this becomes even more difficult. In addition, it is about 3-4 inches too short for my bag, if I have my driver in the bag. If I remove the driver, it is long enough to cover the bag, but then my club is left out in the rain. Seems a little "short" sighted to me. lol For the portion of the bag that it does cover, it does its job well. If you have a shorter than average bag/clubs, and are willing to apply the cover to your bag at the beginning of a round when the forecast calls for rain, this might be for you. Otherwise, I'd recommend skipping this one.

The product was described well& the picture gave me a good idea of what to expect. Only downside is that the softness of the plastic the product is made of makes it a little humbug to open it up from the folded condition. This is understandable, though, since the product is made of soft, flexible plastic. Haven't used it in the rain yet, but it installs very easily and looks like it should work as well as expected.

It's a bit of a nuisance to put on if you are in a rush, and this rain cover is too small for the standard cart golf bag. The Velcro pieces don't wrap far enough around. The plastic is fairly thick, so it doesn't tear easily, but that means some added weight if you leave it in the bag just in case of that rainy day!

Very simple and very effective. Anyone who enjoys playing in poor weather and pushes should pick up this product. Normally push carts put your bag at an angle that results in true saturation and the deterioration of your bag. The EZ-Dri has all the access you'll need, you may have to reshuffle what's in which bag pocket, but a lil better preparation goes a long way

I found the material to be a little stiff too work with. I used it since I've owned it and unfolding was a big task. When storing it in a golf bag it is hard to form it to the inner pockets of the bag. I did like the overall fit form and function while it was installed over the clubs during rain.

Finally got a chance to use this bag after a year. Keep the clubs and bag dry. Enough pockets to allow for access to your bag pockets. Rather than using the zipper on the hood, I found my self pulling the hood up and down over the clubs. Worked fine. Too bad there isn't an elastic strap to secure the hood in the "up" position. Other than that, this bag combined with a good rain suit will actually allow you to enjoy a round in the rain as opposed to just trying to get thru it.

What I like about this cover is the ease of use. Just spread it over your bag and secure with velcro closure in the back. The only "short"-coming is the cover runs a little short and left a few inches at the bottom exposed especially for user who use a tour size cart bag.
