**Q: Is this the same as miso paste**
A: No it isn't the same as Miso Paste. While both are very similar, there are some differences that should be considered. Miso tends to be smoother, with a milder flavor profile. This product has a bolder flavor, and grainy mouth-feel.  Depending on what you're trying to make this product could be used in place of miso. Both are delicious, however subjectively I tend to prefer Daengjang over Miso.

**Q: Does it arrive with adequate time left on the expiration date?**
A: Yes. I received my order Jan. 23 and the expiration date is 11-1-2018.More than enough time to use up.

**Q: What is the heat level of this product?**
A: This particular product has no red pepper in it so it has no heat it is fermented soy bean paste much like miso.

**Q: Is this one that use korean bbq restaurant. to use as dipping sause for meat.**
A: It's used however Korean bbq meat dipping sauce uses a number of ingredients. Doenjang (soy bean paste) is just one of them. You can find varieties of dipping sauce recipes online.
