3d Cowboy Boot Kit for Gumpaste/fondant

I received my kit yesterday and I'm already working on the boot! Very easy to work with and high quality! I own every kits and molds from Cake Structure they really make cakes decorators life so easy! 😅 There is nothing in the market for sugar shoes like CakeStructure's products ( I also have some molds from others companies but nothing compares to CakeStructure's products) and the customer service is fantastic!Thank you so much!!!

Final product turned out OK. Not great. Never dried after 5 days. Maybe was my fondant. Used Fondarific and Duff Chocolate fondant. (Chocolate did dry mostly and tasted good) Wish offered different boot sizes. Would love a baby shoe size. This is a bit large for a cake topper for a 6" cake as I utilized it for. Ideally wanted two boots, but because of large size, had to use just one. Also, looks like an adult boot miniaturized and not a baby's or small child's. (Because of pointed toe) Template is not quite proportional. Needed to stretch to fit in areas. Biggest complaint there are NO INSTRUCTIONS!! There are a few photos as steps to take, but no description. Especially the removal from the form. Absolutely no directions on what I think is really important information. After all that hard work creating it, awful to struggle removing from form messing it up in the process. Only instructions are online in a video that is just a slide show of the same provided photos as "steps". For the amount of money paid, would think would receive a better form that a piece of styrofoam. Also, if making two boots, have to utilize a "left over" piece of styrofoam as a drying form for second boot. Will easily be damaged with time or accidentally roughness. Again, good product, just not for the cost. Still better than without having a form.

This kit is terrific for making boots for cake toppers, but the process will be very difficult if you have no previous experience making gumpaste/fondant shoes. The directions are very simplistic, so you may want to take a class on shoe making first or find a good on-line video to watch before attempting your own. The scale is less than full size, which is perfect for cakes. Who wants a full-sized boot on a cake?The attached photo shows my first boot made with this kit. I modified the template to convert the boot to a slouchy design.

yeah for this mold, will be using it very very soon. I love western cakes and want to use it for a wedding cake. thanks

I bought this structure because I didn't think I could make a cowboy boot without it and there is nothing else like it on the market. The instructions aren't very clear. I found a YouTube video by chance which makes the instructions a little more clear. The thing I am most Disappointed about is that the form is too short and the end of the boot hangs off. I can not find a way to contact the seller about this problem.
