Air - Screenless Activity Tracker, Lavender

Such a great device, accurate, full of detail. It is so nice to wear, I love not having a screen to look at!! Steph Curry Edition was a good choice, great colours, looks so sleek.Sleep feedback is so much more helpful than other watches I’ve used. It keeps charge for more than a week and the app is really nice.

Overall this Fitbit is great. I’ve been using it for over a month now and have been quite pleased with it. Great value for the price and beats many of the other wearables on the market.Things I like:Price- For only a $100, this is great value for a wearable, many of the other competitors in the market like Whoop, Aura, and Ultrahuman cost hundreds of dollars and this provides the same health metrics for a fraction of the cost.No Subscription- This comes out of the box without needing to pay a monthly subscription. Huge selling point for long term usability.Design- I like the minimal design and thin profile on the wrist. Doesn’t look like you’re wearing an expensive device which is a huge plus for me.Extra Band- I love that this also comes with an extra active band to use for exercising. Especially helpful for me when I swim.Things I don’t like (some nitpicks):Cardio Load Measurement- The Fitbit Air will measure your cardio load after a recognized workout or physical activity. I found this measurement a little inconsistent. For example, I noticed a few instances where a 20 min light walk around the neighborhood would somehow register as a higher cardio load compared to a vigorous 40 swim workout where I was completely exhausted afterwards. Some of the readings may be off there.Touch Battery Indicator- According to the user guide, a double tap on the top of the band/puck should trigger the light indicator for the amount of charge left on the device. I found this mechanic to be a little faulty. Doesn’t always show the light indication on double taps and I find myself having to do it multiple times for the light to show up on the puck.“Ask Coach” assistant- Signed up for the free trial of the Coach assistant feature on the app. Chatting with the coach can be cumbersome sometimes. The Gemini AI model that Google uses for its responses are very slow and it takes a long time to get responses back from the AI.Google should use one of its more lightweight LLMs for this feature for a smoother experience.Sleeping- Depending on your sleeping position the Fitbit can be slightly uncomfortable and press against the top of your wrist. You may need to adjust your arm position to avoid this sometimes. Not a dealbreaker though.

I’ve been using the Fitbit Air for a little while now, and honestly, I’m very impressed with what you get for the price. For only around $99, this device packs in a ton of features that rival fitness trackers and health platforms that cost significantly more — especially competitors like WHOOP that also require expensive monthly memberships. So far, the Fitbit Air has been extremely easy to use and surprisingly smart. One of the biggest things I appreciate is how simple it is to integrate health information from other apps. Everything syncs together smoothly, which makes tracking your overall health and wellness feel much more organized instead of scattered across multiple platforms. The workout tracking has been excellent. It tracks heart rate accurately during workouts, monitors activity throughout the day, and the sleep tracking has honestly been one of my favorite features. It gives very detailed sleep insights and actually helps you understand how your recovery affects your energy and performance. What really surprised me though was the AI coaching feature. It feels much more personalized than I expected. You can explain your goals — whether they’re weekly goals, monthly goals, weight loss goals, improving endurance, sleeping better, or just becoming healthier overall — and it actually gives practical daily recommendations based on your habits and data. For example, it adjusts suggestions depending on:How well you sleptYour workout intensityRecovery levelsHydrationNutrition tracking (if you choose to log food)Heart rate trendsOverall activity levelsThat level of personalization at this price point is honestly impressive.Another huge advantage is that you do NOT need to pay for the premium membership to get useful information. A lot of companies lock basic health insights behind subscriptions, but Fitbit still gives you more than enough information without forcing you into another monthly payment. That alone makes this device feel like a better long-term value. The app itself is clean, easy to understand, and beginner-friendly while still giving enough depth for people who take fitness seriously. Whether you’re just starting your fitness journey or already active, it feels like it adapts well to your lifestyle.Battery life has also been solid so far, and the device is comfortable enough to wear all day and overnight without it becoming annoying or bulky.Overall, I’m genuinely pleased with this purchase. It feels like Fitbit found a really good balance between affordability, smart features, health tracking, and usability. For anyone considering a health tracker but not wanting to spend hundreds of dollars plus monthly subscription fees, I definitely think the Fitbit Air is worth looking into.Very happy with it so far, and I’m excited to continue using it daily.

Great product overall. Comfortable to wear, lightweight, and easy to use. The tracking features work well, and the design is simple and stylish. Very happy with the purchase. Good battery life - up to 7 days

The Fitbit Air is a fascinating shift for wearable tech. By ditching the traditional screen, Google created a device that prioritizes distraction-free tracking and exceptional comfort. For someone shifting between active urban walking routines and intense recovery tracking, it behaves less like a loud smartwatch and more like a quiet, highly accurate biological dashboard. The Pros: Where it ExcelsSurgical-Grade Sleep & Recovery Diagnostics: Without a screen to randomly light up in the dark, it’s an absolute dream for sleep tracking. The upgraded skin temperature sensor and highly sensitive \text{SpO}_2 tracking have been invaluable post-surgery, accurately capturing a +1.3^\circ\text{C} localized inflammatory spike and minor oxygen dips to mapping deep tissue-repair windows.Built to Blend In: Whether you are pacing indoor malls for a 14k-step day to beat the Dubai summer heat, sitting in a corporate office, or propped up on pillows recovering from a dental extraction, the ultra-lightweight, low-profile chassis completely disappears on the wrist.Aggressive Battery Longevity (With a Caveat): Because it lacks a power-hungry display, the baseline battery life is stellar. It allows you to comfortably micromanage your power settings—dropping to 83% after days of use—making a single charge easily stretch across a full week if you manage your syncs.Seamless Google Health Integration: The companion app handles the heavy lifting, cleanly segmenting deep sleep, REM sleep, and restlessness (like capturing a 10:22 PM spike in nervous energy) without overwhelming the user. The Cons: The Trade-offsAggressive Bluetooth Background Drain: While the tracker hardware uses minimal power, leaving "All-Day Sync" active in the app can cause rapid communication drain. It requires the user to actively practice manual syncing strategies to hit that 7+ day battery target.Zero Glancable Data: Because it is entirely screenless, you are blind to your metrics in real-time. If you want to know your step count during a transit walk, check your resting heart rate, or view a metric on the fly, you are forced to pull out your phone and open the app.Passive Under the Hood: For users on specific heart-rate-controlling medications (like beta-blockers), the tracker's standard cardiovascular exertion algorithms require manual interpretation, as the device itself won't flag systemic physical stress through traditional heart rate spikes.Who is it for?The Fitbit Air is perfect for someone who wants deep, continuous health data—especially recovery and sleep architecture—without the digital noise, wrist vibrations, and screen glare of a standard smartwatch. It trades instant visibility for comfort and battery life, and sinks beautifully into the background of daily life.

This did not work for me because the app was not compatible with my phone. it seemed like a really nice item and when I asked to return it they answered me right away and said yes. Got a label, dropped return off at Ups drop off and received a refund immediately. Just how you would want a return to happen.

I have been waiting for this for years. I don't want a screen on my wrist. I have used some other "low screen" options in the past - FitBit and Garmin, so I do have familiarity and know what I want and what I don't: I just want something to track my steps and my sleep. I don't need to look down at it every hour. I don't need to answer calls with it. I also don't want to pay $200+ or have a subscription. So imagine my delight when - after following *another* influencer talking about how I should be getting my 10,000 steps as a woman over 40, and then coming on Amazon to see if anything new had come out - I see this. When I bought it, no reviews. But had confidence in FitBit and Google. The day I got it - three reviews. One complaining about the lack of screen - obviously, that's the point 🙄. One complaining it didn't connect to their Google Pixel. Uh oh, I have a Pixel 10.But I have had zero issues so far with this device. It connected perfectly, the updated FitBit/Google Health app is nice. I find the steps and heart rate to be as accurate as any of these things are. It tracks my sleep - which I already knew was crap, but now has been confirmed.I have zero complaints, but I do hope they come out with a bracelet option that looks more like a nicer bracelet and not so obviously a fitness tracker band. But functionally, this is exactly what I've been wanting. As you can see, it's already dirty from a bunch of yardwork today, but the tracker is easy to pop in and out of the bracelet to clean. Also, I have very small wrists, so for reference, it closes with about 3/4 inch of hook and loop left over.

I've been a personal trainer for 9 years and have my B.S. in Kinesiology, so take my review as quite a critical one. My reasons for buying this were twofold - on one hand, I'm curious to see my readouts; on the other, I want to familiarize myself with this product space because lots of people, including many of my clients, use these. With that said, I have mixed thoughts. I appreciate its screenless design and long battery life, that it's small and light enough to functionally disappear after a few minutes of wearing it, and its competitive pricing. Without those going for it, I wouldn't have bought it.The data tracking is generally good, as you'd expect from Fitbit's tenure. The sleep tracking seems pretty on-par with how I feel the following day, and it's genuinely useful to know my heart rate, HRV, TDEE, and so forth. My issues lie with the app and the fact it forces you to be on the receiving end of pure dogwater advice from Gemini. I'm sorry, but AI is nowhere near ready to be a source of health advice. It reads too deeply into inconsequential details and fosters hyper-vigilance rather than educate users on how to regulate and maintain their self-expectations while maintaining consistency. For instance, if you sleep poorly, it tells you to take a rest day. I'm sorry, but no... a million times over, no no no no no. That is terrible advice, and Google should be ashamed for this. Maybe tell the user to temper their expectations for their performance that day, but you should absolutely encourage people to maintain consistency irrespective of their preparedness rather than encourage and promote procrastination. I don't know a single professional trainer or coach that disagrees with me here - PEOPLE DO NOT NEED MORE EXCUSES TO AVOID WORKING OUT.Gemini also keeps insisting that I need to keep tabs on my left knee that I had an ACL replacement on... 8 YEARS AGO. The app knows I have my Kinesiology degree, that I'm a trainer, that I'm of highly advanced overall fitness, and that I network with an extremely reputable sports PT in my area. It knows I am subjected to the best possible circumstances for dealing with an injury at all, let alone one that was resolved nearly a decade ago, and still insists that I need to be hyper-vigilant about it. If Gemini is telling ME this kind of stuff, I can only imagine what it's telling the general population.I could go on, but my conclusion is set: the prescriptive side of the device and app are terrible and need to be reworked or simply removed. Granted, these complaints pertain to all wearable trackers, because the software side of them tends to be lazily bloated with AI slop, but this device is part of that group, which is a shame. I could single-handedly improve it in so many ways, so I'm disheartened to see Google penny pinching their way into an app that nearly ruins the utility of the device. So I'm not sure whether I would recommend this to the average person or not. If you're already workout-savvy, this is a worthy device for some extra metrics and data. If you aren't, I would stay away from this product space entirely, because it will focus too much of your attention on things you shouldn't be concerned about. But if you can find a way to ignore the AI gobbledygook and just use this as a data tracker/compiler, then go for it. I certainly can't give it 5 or 4 stars, but it isn't deserving of a 1 either. I want to give it a 2, but I'll be nice and give it a 3. It's fine. It works. It's useful 60% of the time.

Overall, good comfort and ease of use google health.Benefit is no monthly subscription. But not able to charge after the first usage.Returning the product with disappointment.

The Google Fitbit Air is an exceptional fitness and health tracker. I really like the screenless design because it allows me to focus on my health, activity, recovery, and sleep without unnecessary distractions. The tracking is excellent, the app provides clear and useful insights, and the battery life is impressive. It is lightweight and comfortable enough to wear 24/7, especially during sleep. The AI-powered coaching also adds real value to the overall experience. A premium, well-designed product that I’m extremely happy with. Definitely one of my best purchases and highly recommended!
