My hair was platinum before use. It turned my hair purple brownish. It seems like it would work better if your hair was bleached to a ugly ornge school buss yellow color.

I left the Virgin Snow toner on my hair for 3.5 hours and it did absolutely nothing to the color of my bleached hair. It was still brassy and orange in some spots. I decided to try the Alien Grey anyway and left it in my hair overnight. The next day after rinsing and drying, the white parts of my hair were still very white and the yellow and orange parts were an ugly dull brown. So disappointed.

The dye is ok, I trust this brand to have strong color power which this color doesn't. I admit there may be an issue with my toner. My hair was at a 9 blonde after bleach with yellow tones (much of it white as I have light brown and left in the bleach for 40 minutes), when I used the T18 (platinum toner) it slightly darkened my hair to a 7-8 (which it is not meant to do) In spite of following instructions. My hair IS grey, so it did work, but the coverage is a bit patchy (likely due to bleaching) and even though I left it in for an hour it didn't lay down well and slight yellow tones returned to my hair post dye. However I feel it's mostly my own fault, and grey IS a very hard color to achieve, I'm fairly happy with the result but the color it lays down and the example color shown are not quite the same. I expected a slightly darker steel grey (to cover any yellow tones that may remain) when this was designed as more of a light silver, the disparity between the shown color and the actual tone is why I took a star off. If you have white platinum hair (especially if you bleached already blonde hair for example) this is an EXCELLENT dye. But grey is the sort of color you should get done professional, and no matter your color dyes like this won't hold onto natural hair well and you need the bleach damage to allow it to hold

Firstly, I should have ordered more than one jar. My hair is medium length bob, but I have thick, Puerto Rican hair. So 1 jar was not enough. Secondly, I don’t know if it was because I did not have enough, but it applied so weird and uneven. I have dyed my hair through salon and alone for years. I know how to evenly distribute the dye through my hair in organized sections... this is like the dye picked and chose what strands it decided it wanted to dye. I am disappointed! I have 3 colors in my hair now. I am not giving it a lower review yet because I am not sure if it would help if I saturated it even more, even though it was pretty saturated the way it was.. willing to give it one more try since there aren’t alot of gray dyes on amazon to buy.

It is a great shad of grey.

Trop peu pigmenté n'a pas tenu sur cheveux décolorés... Et cher pour un si petit contenant...

I've been au naturel grey for several years now but lately have noticed more white creeping in. This product deepens my already grey hair and makes it more interesting - less old-looking - in my opinion, and because it fades after several washes there is no big delineation between coloured hair and new growth. There's no awful smell, either, and because I'm colouring white hair there's no need to bleach first. My hair feels nice and soft after colouring. The first time I used it, I left it on for 40 minutes, the second time for 75 minutes. I got a better colour with 75 minutes. Next time I plan to leave it on for 2 hours. (I'm not recommending this timing for others and everyone should do a patch test and a strand test before initial use as recommended by the manufacturer.) I'm really happy with the product and it's easy to do at home, and that's way cheaper than having the hairdresser do it. I bought a bowl-and-brush set from Amazon, which helps. Have fun!

Ottima crema colorante, non una tinta classica ma un mix tra una crema riflessione e una tinta. Unica pecca è che scolorisce in pochi lavaggi, io personalmente la uso 1 volta ogni 7/10 giorni perché ho i capelli molto corti e li lavo un giorno si e uno no. Non vorrei molto i capelli bianchi ma sulla decolorazione è l'ideale. Sui bianchi ha solo un riflesso del colore che si acquista mentre sulla decolorazione il valore risulta identico a quello descritto che si compra. Questo a me risulta un grigio scuro tendente al blu e lo adoro! Non brucia la cute assolutamente e non irrita, per questo sono scesa al compromesso di farla 3 volte al mese anziché una con una tinta normale anche perché preferisco questo prodotto meno invasivo e vengano.
