It is very bright! Here are a few tips that may make installation easier and last much longer!My first problem was a round mounting box used for the old security light. The Warmoon LED uses the typical LED U frame mounting bracket. So how do you mount the light without losing some semblance of directional adjustably to an existing box? A quick trip the the hardware store solved the problem.Shopping list1; 1/2inch to 1/4 inch reducing busing,1; 1/4 inch by 2 inch piece of threaded pipe,1; 1/4 quarter inch 90 degree elbow1; 5/8 by 1 inch bolt1; 5/8 nut (Jam nut)1; small tube of silicon clear1; 1/2 rubber compression busing (for hard wire inside the round box)NOTE: Take your bracket to the hardware store with you. TEST FIT the BOLT and NUT arrangement (see photo)! The mounting bracket can very a little so you want to test the center hole size.NOTE: External mounting boxes (Square or round) 95% of the time will have 1/2inch holes. Verify what hole size your box has by taking a hole plug (round plug with grove in it) with you. If your box has a different size hole stacking reducing busings should be able to get you to down to the 1/4 inch size without adding bulk or ugliness.Direction adjustment: The nut is used as a jam nut to pinch the metal frame against the 90 degree elbow. Once you have decided on the light direction tighten the nut.About the death of the motion sensor. First it is rather cheap but ALL sensors are! I've had sensors go out on $140 lights. Second for some odd reason the manufacture mounts the motion sensor UPSIDE DOWN! The sensor adjustment dials need to be pointing toward the ground (out of direct weather). In this case the issue can be rectified by unscrewing and removing the thumb screw at the sensors elbow. Once unscrewed flip the sensor over and replace the thumb screw. You may, while the sensor is disassembled fill the cavity where the wires enter the sensor head with silicon. This will block water from entering into the head from this point and rapidly killing the sensor. Replace the thumb screw and check that the sensor dials are now pointed toward the ground. Irregardless of where you mount the sensor head (on top or bottom of light) of your light the adjustment dials need to be pointing DOWN!.[...]Hope this helps! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Decent little motion light *by R***K on October 27, 2016* I actually ordered this purely by accident. When it came we decided to give it a try rather than send it back. We cut off the plug so we could wire it in above the back porch, and it works great. Believe it or not it actually looks great as well. Smaller than I expected, but it lights up the back walkway perfectly. I would buy it again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Magnificent bright *by U***4 on May 17, 2017* I was very surprised how bright and how much area it covers. The motion part works great, I just followed the instructions for setup. After a few good rains and they still work fine. This light is well made, durable metal construction.
