I bought these for some older cars with plastic couplers. Now I only get the kadee type couplers.

Works much better than the stock couplers
I bought a used ho scale Bachmann train set, some of the couplers were broken and the ones that weren't did not work very well. These work much better than the originals. I did have a problem with the caboose where the the hole in the coupler was too small and didn't fit so had to leave the original, but other than that these work great.

Solid couplers
Fit a variety of cars great and work better than any stock couplers I had. Looking at them I anticipate their spring to hold up longer than others. A few of the mini springs had fallen off in shipping, but they can be put back on. It's model trains and small parts will need fixing from time to time, so not a big deal.
