My son loves these books and he can read them on his own. He loves sharing stories about Amelia Bedelia.

I bought it for a five year old, and seven year old also enjoyed it very much. I loved Amelia Bedelia as a kid and it’s still funny.

Amelia Bedelia is a wonderful character to get any young reader interested in reading. She never fails to entertain. The artwork and sentences are bright and concise. Excellent educational tool.

Fast read for eight year old, but its w classic and a funny story.will pass it on to other kids.

My almost 5 year old granddaughter is on a AB kick right now and being a grandmother who likes to give gifts they enjoy I found "AB Goes Camping" and bought it. My grandkids go camping and fishing so this is appropriate for them and they liked the trials that Amelia brings to the story very much. I thought at first that it was too much story for a 4 year old but Mother tells me it's a favorite of my grandchild and they have read it several times already. I'm glad I bought it. There are some newer versions of Amelia in print that are too modern for me. They have an agenda that I don't care for. So if you like Amelia Bedelia in the old fashioned sense be sure to watch for the author. Peggy Parish is the original author and the best. Copies of the other Parish have been a disappointment and won't be purchased again. Check out a free copy from the library before you add one permanently to your personal library.
