Would this fit my passenger front right side for a Honda Pilot 2003 ?

Yes it should fit during this time Honda used the same part in a lot of their models.

Will this work for a 2004 CRv rear hatch door too?

No, you need buy the right part. https://www.amazon.com/Trunk-Actuator-Tailgate-Honda-74800-SMG-G01/dp/B095RYLFJY Look the OEM part for compatibility

How do you make sure the remote will work. Is there anything additional you have to do for that?

This actuator is controlled by the remote. No extra connectors needed. The only issue I had with installing this on the driver door was that the horn beep when locking doors stopped working. But then again, this was my son’s car and that may have stopped working earlier and is completely unrelated.

Can someone give me the exact part number I should buy, I have a 2002 honda crv Japan built (right hand drive) so it would be right driver's side.

Dear customer,Yes this product is fit for your car.
